Blade's cancellation, a new Avengers teaser, a secret Stranger Things episode, and Two-Face in Batman 2. Hello, Buis and Scouts, Bite here. This is breaking news, which means we'll be discussing what interesting things have happened in the last two weeks. That is , this is the first episode of the year . Congratulations to both you and me.
I'm not congratulating you on going back to work now, the twelfth, but this episode will be out just in time for work, for the work week. There's a lot of news, because there are some really juicy newsbreaks over the past two weeks. Well, these are, of course, very strange things. They've been abuzz for, well, almost these past two weeks. I
won't spend much time on it, because everyone who was interested is probably sick of it, but nevertheless, it's also impossible not to discuss it. Anyway, we'll be getting to all of this now.
Thanks for watching. Let's get started. Those Avengers again. A lot of Avengers-related stuff is coming out. Well, of course, the official teasers,
you've seen them, I've posted them on my channel too. You've probably watched them separately too. I posted things on Telegram that haven't been officially released on YouTube yet. Here you go.
Anyway, let's take it one by one. Well, the Thor teaser came out, but it came out right before New Year's, like a gift under the tree. It was watched, it's cool, serious, even a little dark, but very beautiful. There in the forest , Thor prays to Odin for his survival and return to his daughter, Lyuba. Well , who is completely love. That's a wonderful teaser. Also, at the same time, a more or less unofficial teaser for X-Men came out, but now it's online . I can show it to you. This is an X-Men teaser featuring Professor X Charles Xavier, Magneta Eric L. Nsher, and Cyclops, played by James Marden from those very same X-Men. It's a fantastic teaser, the best one yet, the most, well, I don't know, nostalgic.
Well, because Steve, yeah, we saw him, yeah, he wasn't there. He was supposed to have left the cinematic universe, but anyway, he did appear in Deadpool, but in a different role. Well, here he is, returning to the role of Steve Rogers since Endgame. It's a nice return, but not exactly wow. It's even simpler with the story. I mean, we saw him not that long ago in "Doctor Strange 4," and here it's just...well, although some of them have already appeared there: in "Days of Future Past ," then in "Doctor Strange 2." But James Marsden, the Cyclops, who's sitting right there on the destroyed place [of people] and shooting this laser—well, it looks awesome.
Well, as per tradition, when the official teaser comes out, an unofficial one comes out too, well, more precisely, a leaked one comes out next week, that is, on Tuesday, very
soon, a new teaser will come out where they will show Shuri, where they will show Nemor, Mbaku, and Ben Grim from the Fantastic Four. They meet somewhere in the desert and just get acquainted, that's all. There's nothing particularly interesting there. That is , you can notice that these Wakandans have new costumes. Well, Shuri as Black Panther has a little bit of blue added to her. Nemor has a new costume, they added this collar from the comics, this black one. Ben Grim, I think, has the same costume as he had in the Fantastic Four. But, in general, no additions are needed yet. Cool costumes, they're just getting to know each other. And it really reminds me of, uh, remember the introduction scene from Infinity War, when the heroes arrive in Akanda, there's Mark Ruffalo, Hulk, Bruce Banner bows, they're making fun of him.
Well, basically, something like that. What happens next is still unknown. We need to wait until Tuesday, then we'll know, like, whether another teaser will be released a week in advance or not.
However, there are a lot of different rumors. Some say there will be five videos, others say there will be six videos, and still others say there will only be four. Uh, here's the trailer track channel, which, uh, quite often publishes real information, specifically the one about trailers.
Especially since it's almost February, so there's only two weeks left, at the beginning of February comes out, oh, it's happening, or rather, the Super Bowl, where there are a huge number of trailers. And I'm sure, well, Marvel will release something there. It's their base. They promote all the big films there because it's the most popular sporting event in the US, watched on TV. They wouldn't miss the opportunity to promote, like, their new crossover, to get people interested. So there's definitely going to be something there. And so, supposedly, they're putting out some kind of full-fledged teaser trailer on February 8th, and that's when they'll show the most stuff. Maybe something else will come out before then, but it seems to me like, I mean, the concept was that you show a new teaser for the Avenger every week for four weeks, or whatever number of weeks, before Avatar. And people go, like, watch the teaser and see Avatars. Avatars are fine, by the way. We'll talk about that more today.
There you go. And it's kind of weird that it'll end with Shuri, Nemori, and Bennigrim. Like, they showed four teasers. They're kind of normal. I just mean, how does the concept end? It's like the final point is the first look at Doctor Doom. We look at him and are like, "Cool." And then we'll wait for the full trailer. Well, that's how I see it. Then, information appeared online that some insiders received promo shots, some promotional materials for Avengers 5, but they can't publish them. And there's this Doctor Doom thing, that is, there's the first poster of what seems to be a film, and it shows Doctor Doom playing chess.
It's an Amash of the comics, which had a cover like that. And now there were even panels there, where they were, well, from pages straight from the comic, where Doctor Doom is playing chess with characters, and we get this poster. In my opinion, the idea is awesome. This, well, will really show that Doctor Doom knows his stuff.
Although, on the other hand, it seems to contradict a little the information that other insiders are giving out. That is, there's "My Time to Shine Hello" and the general description of the film, because Doctor Doom is not necessarily portrayed as a villain. And because of that, what's the point of making a poster where he seems to control the heroes like pawns? It seems to ruin some, well, whole concept. I mean, yes, we understand that Doctor Doom is a villain. People who haven't even read the comics always know that because they could have seen another movie. Doctor Doom was always a bad guy . That's it. And here, too, we kind of imply that, but it seems like the movie wants to play with it. But more on that later. Anyway, here's a promo shot. And then they threw in all sorts of neuroposters, showing what it might look like. Then there are various photo sets: Red Guardian, Steve Rogers with Mjolner, Reed Richards, the Sentry, uh, Doctor Doom holding a shield and sword.
Then he's there with that belt, then Elena in the X-Mansion. Well, in short, lots and lots of different materials. And the most interesting thing is that they definitely appeared on Twitter, I don't know where they came from, but it looks 100%like the real thing. I don't even know if I can post this or not, because they don't seem to get banned.
I've even seen photos that have already been cleared of watermarks. Well, I mean, there are watermarks in the photos, and people have simply cleaned them up. I don't know if they were using neural networks or not, but nevertheless, they cleaned them up and got, like, high-quality character promos. And it doesn't look like neural networks only because back in 2020, I received it from, like, a friend who makes helmets. Uh, basically, there's a system there where you can buy these kinds of photosets for some money, so you can make some kind of, like, merch.
Well, and he makes a helmet there, it's cool for him in advance. He might, for example, start making a helmet for someone, I don't know, a new Red Guardian suit even before the official film comes out. So, that's exactly what happened there. I saw Taskmaster, I saw Red Guardian, and so on, so on, even before they appeared in the trailer. I mean, he sent it to me, showed it to me . This photoset looks exactly like this . And especially Steve Roger with long hair, with Mjolner. This looks like what will actually be in the film. I don’t know if I can demonstrate it to you. Well, the Fantastic Four also appear there. The only thing they have is these suit-style jackets, only with jackets on top. This also looks real.
And there’s a lot, a lot of stuff there. And there’s a promo for Doctor Doom. They match up with what we saw in the promo at that Disney event, where it seemed like it was just a cartoon version of Doctor Doom, but, apparently , this is how he will look in the film.
It’s almost a 100%accurate. He’ll also have a sword, he’ll have some kind of big belt. Well, that is to say, there’s a lot of stuff there that matches what we’ve already seen. And this really doesn't look like a neural network. Although, well, right now it's unclear how and what to believe. Now let's go through the inside information . Dnivar Warpkey reports that Hayley Atwill, who played Peggy Carter, then Captain Carter—well, there she is, you just saw her—will have a big role in this film. That is, the biggest one in her journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she will appear in several incarnations at once. Well, as I understand it, the first is Peggy Carter, that is, as Steve Rogers 'wife.
Next is Captain Carter. Of course, this is one of her already, it seems, even more well-known roles in the cinematic universe. She has appeared there more often, so what if she is practically the main character. Well, and then there is also the possibility of a female version of Doom, because there was a speculation online that, well, there was an inside information that Doom will also have several different versions and there will even be, perhaps, a female version of Doom. So, for example, why shouldn't she play?
Well, they say it will be important, maybe she. But overall, Agent Carter and Captain Carter, I think, are definitely hers for the roles. Dneykei also reports that Owen Wilson and Gwynyth Rowe will be returning to their roles. The former plays Mobils in Locke , the latter plays Peots. Well, Ugwyt Rlt is a whole separate universe there.
I ask her, and it seems like she's completely out of context. I mean, they asked her something about The Avengers. She's like, "What? What's that even like? What's going on? There was Dune, I think, and Timothy Shlam or something asked her about it. She didn't even watch it." I mean, she lives in her own world. She didn't know who Tom Holland was. I mean, Robert Downey Jr. told her , like, you've acted with him, and she's like, "Oh, yeah, I didn't know." Well, that's just how a person is an
actress. Oh well, that's her business. Next up is My Time to Shine Hello, which, according to recent rumors and investigations, turns out to be the same Danny Warpé, but whatever.
Basically, My Time to Shine Hello announces a sort of synapsis, I don't know, a synopsis, or rather, a premise. Doctor Doom won't be a villain, at least not in this Doctor Doom's Day in the fifth film. He'll be presented as just one of the characters who also fights invasions. So, the global villain of the fifth film will be some sort of invasion. Some kind of natural threat, a cataclysm on a multiverse scale, which the heroes will fight. You know, disaster movies, I don't know, about floods. And there's no real villain there. Some character is better , some character is worse, but the main evil is the elements. And it's pretty much the same here. Well, the description seems to imply that Doctor Doom comes to the Fantastic Four. That post-credits scene in Fantastic Four, where he approaches the kid, Franklin, it's just a gimmick. He actually comes to visit, talks to them, and says, " Here's the problem, let's go." And then they fly together to the main universe, where they meet the characters. And then the plot unfolds, they kind of fight, trying to prevent the invasion.
Moreover, Doctor Doom, Victor Fondoom, he's smart, Richards is smart, Shuri is smart, and there are many, many characters who also seem to have brilliant intellects and can deal with this. So they all unite. And, apparently, only later, somewhere out there, Doctor Doom will assume the role of ruler, and this will be reflected in the secret wars. That is, it's also a cool concept, because it doesn't literally repeat the, uh, concept of " Infinity War" and "Endgame," where, like, the villain wins, and then he loses. And here, like, the villain is with everyone, but he's, you know, like when you play King of the Hill with friends: you can kind of even help each other, but in the end, someone has to get there. And like, someone ran faster than everyone else. And this Doctor Doom, he's like, "Well, I'll take this responsibility, and here you go." Something similar happened in the comics, with the Times Run Times Runout , the event that escalated into Secret Wars. There, either Doctor Doom had to do it, you know, reset the entire universe and stop the invasion, or Doctor Strange. And Doctor Strange kindly provided this opportunity to Doctor Doom. He never forgot anything and was his right hand. And it seems, judging by the concepts, something similar will be in the film. Plus, My Time to Shine Hello says that Nemor and Sue Storm will have a lot of scenes together in the desert, which are shown in the fourth teaser. Honestly, I don't see it at all. Well, I mean, in the comics, yes, Sue and Nemor had one, well, there was also Irit, there was a
love triangle, that is, Nemar loved Sue Storm, and she sometimes kind of played along, but basically she loves Reed. It's like, yeah, she doesn't love you, she loves me. That's roughly it, but I just don't see any sense in it at all, because in the film they showed that they already have a family, they had a child, they're all kind of like peas in a pod. And now they showed us...It would be strange to try to bring her closer to Nemra in the next film, where these characters appear. You could create some awkward line where Nemra will try to hit on her, but it seems weird. Anyway, the last thing—you might have seen a screenshot online of some news about the film being 3 hours and 45 minutes long. And the problem is , it was posted by a distributor in Kazakhstan, who promotes the CIS there —well, Disney's representative in Kazakhstan—they posted this news. And this news is real, but it's from an insider who's not really very reliable.
He just posted it as a rumor. And there's no basis for it at all. And they just posted it without specifying that it was just a rumor, just that the film would be running the same length.
And people, well, obviously, it's a Disney representative, like, oh, that's cool, but that happens. So, that doesn't mean you have to believe it verbatim. And I kept getting this message, like, the official Disney distributor in Kazakhstan posted this news. What do you think? It's not that I think it's impossible that they might know the film's running time. It's just that I'm sure even the Russa brothers, who are directing it, don't know the running time. It's simply because the film hasn't even been finished yet.
There will be additional filming in the spring. The film isn't coming out until December of this year, and it's January now. You understand that it hasn't been fully edited yet. So, it's the same thing. I'm going to film the news now, and I won't know how long it's running.
I can roughly estimate, but it's impossible to know exactly how long it will be. And it's written down to the minute. 3 hours 45 minutes. Where did this information come from? Well, in short, there's no need to even analyze it. It's not true. Mahershala Ali's Blades movie is dead. At least, that's what insider Jeff Snyder is saying. He sometimes drops some seriously reliable tidbit that The Hollywood Reporter can confirm literally a day later. The outlet is well-known in Hollywood, so you can trust it somewhat, but he leaked it. He's on a podcast, like, " Blade is dead." But in reality, it's more of a rumor. He heard it from someone, like, a broken phone. And then they told him Blade is dead, the movie won't happen. Supposedly, it was canceled. And Mahershala Ali will appear in the role, but only in Midnight's Sons. It's unclear whether this is true or not. Another insider says no, the film will still happen, it will still be released. There's a chance, but only after Midnight's Sons.
But, actually, it's possible to believe that Blade won't be made because it's been—and I'm already confused how many years have passed. Almost six.
Well, I don't remember when. Anyway, Blade has been in development for a long time since the announcement. There have already been several scripts, several directors. Poor Mahershala Ali doesn't know where else to star. So I can fully believe that the film will be cancelled sooner or later. Yeah. There was some recent news that Jordan Peele, uh, and his company might co-produce this film along with Marvel Studios.
And Jordan Peele will be directing, so he'll have a lot of creative freedom, and they'll, in short, make some cool movie, but it's not a fact. So. Uh, that's just another guess. I don't know , I don't know what to say about this film. I'm just sad that Mahershala Ali even got involved in this, and why they even announced it is unclear. But they thought they'd make it. It didn't work out, they weren't lucky. Now they have the fifth Avengers, then the sixth Avengers, and then people will go.
Where they'll put this Blade, I don't know. Well, Midnight's Sons is possible , if the film is successful, then we can film Origin later. But it's as if we could find another actor, a younger one, to play Plaid. Stranger Things.
Here they are, my favorites. I even have a pendant with this Stranger Things. Let's discuss what happened there, because it was all the rage online, and it seems to have even benefited the series, because Netflix crashed several times, and people were so interested in how much content
they'd read, it's impossible to describe. Anyway, here's the story. Everything was calm until season five, people were really looking forward to it. Season four was incredible. There are several episodes that are still the most highly rated in the entire series.
They still look amazing. Well, I mean, season four is the peak, yes, the first one is conceptually very cool and awesome. So, it has its own unique, mm-h, juice flavor, because it's a mystical series with kids about something scary and incomprehensible happening in a small town. Cool. And it's so good in its own way, cheap. And then, well, it started to accelerate, becoming more of a blockbuster. And then in the fourth season, it was like the very, very peak of prime time. And then the fifth season everyone was waiting for, it started out great, four bombastic episodes. And then four more episodes came out, no, three more episodes came out. And after those, it started to go, because it had the lowest-rated episode now, the seventh.
After that, rumors started spreading that the Duffer brothers and Netflix in general had cut something, because there were scenes like that. I still believe it a little, actually, even though the Dafer brothers deny it, all the actors deny it, well, a lot of people, but it's as if something, well, I don't know, I can believe that it could have been, but it's not certain.
It's like I just partially believe it. That's all. Petitions started going around asking for a proper version of the episodes to be released, because it's clear that they skipped some things, didn't finish some things, and so on. And they were waiting for the
finale. The finale came out, and it backfired even more because a lot of people didn't like it. And I can understand why. That is, there are a number of mistakes, a huge number of inaccuracies, questions about how it ended, and general plot holes. If anything, I won't spoil it. You never know, some people here haven't watched it yet, but there's no point in spoiling it. It's pointless. So, uh, the thing is, people are like, well, that's what struck me most. And the most interesting thing is, I watched that finale on January 2nd along with the audience. I watched it live. I watched it and they said to me, " There's this theory." I was like, " What's this theory?" So interesting, so interesting. And people started, as soon as they watched the finale, looking for inaccuracies, looking for some kind of intricacies, uh, some kind of, I don't know, like Easter eggs, some kind of hints that there's something more, that what we were shown is just a game, it's all unreal. And it's like a huge PR campaign for the real finale, which will come out a little later. The original date was January 11th, because there was, like, a website, where the radio is, this has been going on since season five, there were, well, in various materials, references to something happening on January 11th. Like, a secret episode will come out on January 11th. I told the guys right away that it sounded cool. I looked at all this material, studied it, it sounds cool, but I can't believe it, because I've already lived through it all. This happened, at least with Sherlock. If you remember, I remember being there on January 1st, it was the same thing on New Year's Eve, January 1st, and they leaked another episode. Anyway, Sherlock came out on January 1st, people watched it and were like, "No, this is some kind of , we don't like it." And people really got the theory going back then.
Well, this happened with several series , there was Killing Eve, I think, and some other small-scale ones, but it was really big with Sherlock. I remember people really thought the BBC had fooled everyone and there would be a secret episode. Well, many years have passed, and that episode, as you understand, doesn't exist. I don't remember any talk of a secret episode with Game of Thrones. Everyone was just unhappy there. The same thing happened here. And, well, I remember all those theories about Infinity War, about Fist's Wandavi Vision. I mean, I've been there before, I'm not new to this ranch, so I understand it all. And it was cool for me. I mean, you know, I watched all those theories with real nostalgia and some kind of, I don't know, pleasant feeling. I'll finish telling my story later. Anyway, I watched it and said, "Guys, this isn't true. This isn't going to happen. Well, believe me, it's simply because, well, Netflix wouldn't do that. It sounds cool coming from the fans. It's really, really Rockabilly, somehow cool. And in general, it would be, well, mind-blowing if they did that. But corporations don't do that. They're big machines, there's huge money involved.
They won't take such risks and do some kind of marketing ploy like that haphazardly. So it won't happen. But it sounds cool, yeah. Time passes, and then the date moves to January 7th.
Even more theories. I even sat for a few days, studying it all on Twitter, scrolling through. I'm just like," I have a free minute, I'm not the news, I see there was no news, it's the January holidays, everyone's resting. "And I was just hopping on Twitter and just looking at some guesses, theories, inaccuracies. And Look. That's why, that's why, er, confirmity gate, I think it's a hashtag, if I pronounced it correctly. So, anyway, on January 7th, and I was like," Damn, this is so cool. "I mean, I knew it wouldn't happen, but I was really interested in studying it. I've been living with these theories for a few days. It's cool. Well, there are a lot of plot holes, a lot of inaccuracies, a lot of stuff. The Daffer brothers added fuel to the fire, because they came out, started giving interviews, and then one of the Daffer brothers says," Damn, I was actually sick, and I said something nonsense. Don't think that I, well, anyway, erase it from your memory. I
said something nonsense. I was like, " Well, in general, the Daffer brothers have a brilliant explanation. It talks about why there were no Dimagorgans and the rest." These are not spoilers. Well , like, Ah, yeah, I didn't know. Vecna, I just didn't know. Okay, that's kind of funny. Well, in the end, nothing came of it. Although there's a lot of confirmation, people still believe, they're still guessing, but it didn't happen, alas. But it created a huge amount of movement, a huge number of vertical videos, a huge number of theories, posts on social media. It really pushed this whole finale forward . And then, on January 12th, I think it airs, and it turns out, yeah, today it airs, or probably tonight, uh, anyway, a special episode, a little featurette about how the fifth season came together. There you go. Well, the story is cool. It's really, well, it will also be remembered in history. Of interest, the Duffer brothers probably also announced a spinoff of Stranger Things. It will be that series. It won't be at all, it's not a fact that it's in the 1980s. Most likely, it won't be in the 1980s. I don't know, in our time. No, they didn't just say a different time period, different actors , a different city, everything different. Absolutely everything. But they'll talk about one artifact, one magafin, that appeared in season five.
In my opinion, that's a lazy move, because it's weird to make a series out of it. But I hope there really is some other theory there, like it's just a teaser. I mean, it's a really cool concept, that's all. But in general, the Dafer brothers have already left for Paramant, and they'll be working on projects there. So, the fact that they're at Netflix means they're just staying on as producers, assistants, but they won't be the ones running the project. Judging by the reactions to the finale, well, that's actually a plus for people. Well, there's also this, yeah, paradoxical thing: there's an actress who played Mama Max in the series, and she was supposed to play her role in season five, but they just didn't invite her. So she was supposed to appear in a scene where...I think I, I didn't understand at first, she said, it seems like they even filmed it, then cut it out. But nevertheless, she was just battling cancer there, she went into remission, well, it's like...to create, well, these Duffer brothers were just afraid that she might not live to see the airing of the series, although that's also strange. And, in short, they didn't include her appearance, although she showed up at Max's hospital. Well, and sort of checked on her daughter, which sounds quite logical. And now this is one of the plot holes, like they don't show the child's mother, where she's been all this time and why she didn't show up. Spider-Man 4: A New Day. Eman Efandi, who has already played in Ahsoka, well, he's played in many places, but in Ahsoka he has a memorable role, he might play a guy, a new guy for Znday MJ's character in Spider-Man 4. This is just a rumor for now. He appears in the trailer, but the
thing is, the trailer that's leaked is in bad quality. It's even been leaked a few times, but it's in bad quality. And they show a scene where MJ has a new boyfriend. Who plays him, and there's some kind of party, nothing visible.
Well, it looks like it's him, but it doesn't look like it's him. Well, that's the insight for now, if you care . There's also information that the trailer that was leaked before will officially be released in January. It might appear online on January 20th.
This is because the Avengers teasers are just ending, and after that, Sony can't release it in the same week as the Avengers. It would be competition.
And the Spider-Man trailer is about to come out. I don't know, if that's the case, it's a really powerful advertising campaign. They've kind of hijacked December and January with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they're saying they might wait until the Super Bowl. In any case, I think Sony will also release something at the Super Bowl and somehow promote Spider-Man, because again, it's a very important project, and they'll want to make as much money as possible. But another insider, Reddit Guy, reports that the trailer for Daredevil: Reborn season 2 will be released first in February, followed by trailers for the Special and Spider-Man. It's like, projects will be promoted the way they're released. Like, Daredevil, it's coming out in the spring, the first trailer comes out, then the Special, apparently , and then Spider-Man. Or maybe they'll switch up the Spider-Specials a bit.
It's like, you have to wait, but it's not a given that there'll be a big gap. Like, maybe one week, you know, like February 15th for Daredevil, then a week later for the Special, and then Spider-Man the following week. That would be cool too, because these projects are closely connected, at least by the Punisher thing. And to tie them together like this and gradually promote them. What struck me a little, DiS, is that Max from Stranger Things.
She plays in Spider-Man 4. And she said in an interview that she first learned about her role in Spider-Man 4 from the internet. And this kind of news sometimes confuses me, how things work in Hollywood. That is, the producers were sort of deciding behind her back whether she would play the role or not, and this is, you know, such a well-developed rumor system that it
appeared online faster than the actress herself was asked. So, you know, rumors had already been circulating for a while that she would play the role. Well, of course, you know, for example,
Marvel Studios are sitting there and asking, "So, who, who could play this character?" They're just spreading the word. Someone who's pushing this whole Lily thing with the insider is saying that sadistic may be coming, but the actress hasn't even heard of it yet.
She has no idea they're even considering her, she's completely unaware, they'll just ask her and then she'll decide whether to accept or not. That's how it goes in Hollywood. That's how it is. Although, logically, of course, they should compile some kind of list of potential actors, ask around , and then, you know, once some more concrete discussions are underway, this has appeared online. Well, now, even at this stage, everything is already leaking. And there's also this rumor about Dnila RPK, that Sony is now ready to hand over the opportunity to Marvel to make a Spider-Man movie and all the characters around him. Let me remind you that a long time ago, in the late 1990s, when Marvel went bankrupt, they sold the rights to the characters and sold a whole bunch of them to Sony, including Spider-Man. That's why Sony makes all the Spider-Man movies. And now, due to the failures of their
spinoffs with Venom, Kravon the Hunter, Morbius, and others, and Adam Web, Sony doesn't know what to do and is ready to let Marvel make films about all these characters. This is actually good news, if that's how it goes. Continuing with our series from last year, Warner Bros.
is buying. You remember that Netflix is currently the main buyer. And judging by everything, well, judging by what Netflix and Warner Bros. are doing, they've already reached an agreement; they're not interested in anything at all. They're like, "Yeah, it's all great." Although the deal hasn't been officially approved yet, either by the antitrust service or by the whole thing . Paromaunt is still struggling, but we'll get back to that in a moment. So, uh, Sarasota, who runs Netflix, which is what Warner Bros. is buying, he said that, well, if we buy it, well, well, like, he doesn't say anything like, " We'll give Warner Bros. 17 days of distribution." So, for example, a movie , I don't know, comes out, uh, something comes out at Warner Bros., like Superman 2—it will run in theaters for 17 days, and then it will immediately appear on HBO or Netflix, well, and both, for example, you know,
it will appear digitally, and people will be able to watch it. That's the policy. Like, all Warner Bros. films, yes, they will be released in theaters.
So, no problem at all, we are ready to support them for 17 days. Well, as you understand, this is complete nonsense, because I can personally say that if they tell me, for example, Avengers 5 is coming out and in 17 days it will be in theaters. Oh, come on, I'll wait 17 days. I mean, you know, like, if it's not showing here, I'll be like, "Damn, where am I supposed to watch it? Maybe I should fly to another country and watch it in Avengers: Episode 5 so I can quickly shoot a video for the guys and, well, it's spoilers and all that.
17 days, but basically, you can survive it in a bunker somewhere." Well, I'm joking, of course, but basically, I mean, 17 days and for the average person it's like, "Well, the movie came out, damn, it's cool. I want to see what's coming home in 17 days." Oh, come on, I'll wait. I mean, you see, that's basically two weeks. Well, what's the wait and that's it, and the movie is on digital in some excellent 4K quality or something. I mean, it's like, it's nothing. And people won't want to go to the cinema at all. And the reputable Deadline portal, well, quite well-known worldwide, reported that if this happens, it will completely destroy movie theaters because they won't survive with such a schedule. Well, Warner Bros. is a huge company, they have a lot of releases, yes, that's not the only thing, but nevertheless, they will lose a lot, well, that is, movie theaters will lose
many, many different releases, many films that will simply be shown for 17 days. This is nonsense. That's it. But this Sarans didn't really consult with them; they just said how they would do it, so it's not a question, let's say.
And finally, it's Paramount. Paramount was told again for the eighth time, I think, they were rejected, they were told for the eighth time. Thank you, no thanks. They were kind of hinted, "If you offer more money, we'll consider it ." So, Warner Bros. is basically pushing them back and forth. Paramot really wants to buy Warner Bros., but, well, you see, there's already a deal.
They have Netflix. Cool. They offered us such-and-such a large sum, but still . And they're offering more, more, more . Already bigger than Netflix. They're like, "No, thanks, we're not interested ." I mean, it's unclear what all the fuss is going on. But for now, that's it. DC news. I've collected them in one block because they're all, you know, a hodgepodge. First of all, James Ga isn't ruling out a Christmas special for the DCEU. He's already done something similar for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it's a fantastic special. I rewatched it, I've watched all sorts of specials from different series, different projects.
And one of them was Guardians. I rewatched it for the first time since it premiered. And it's just amazing. I mean, it looks expensive, cool, absolutely amazing. And the Christmas spirit there is a kind of New Year's mood, it's very sad, and joyful, and cheerful, yes, absolutely amazing. And I would like to see something like that , for example, in the DCEU. Why not?
That is, if, for example, they were to film "Superman 2" there, then they would devote a little more budget and time to the locations, but without having to rush actors back and forth, they could immediately film some special there and then release a half-hour piece somewhere on a streaming service as a separate piece and raise money there at Christmas. So, it would be cool, cool to kill two birds with one stone: more content, and not spend so much money, so that, you know, there would be no need to reassemble the actors, rebuild the locations, and so on. Regarding Wonder Woman in the DCEU, James Gun says that no actress has been found yet, and they won't tell or show her in January— that is, there will be no official announcement from the studio. But he still didn't rule out her appearance in the "Man of Tomorrow" crossover. And the most interesting thing is that Jeff Snyder also seems to confirm this. And he says that James Gunn has already met with actresses; he's already considered candidates for the role of Wonder Woman . So, well, in short, the search is underway, she's already close. Like, Batman won't be shown in this crossover , but he will be mentioned. And James Gunn himself also spoke a little about filming "Man of Tomorrow." He said, firstly, that he understands both Lex and Superman—that is, you know, both characters, because they will be working in tandem there. They are, well , a hero and a villain, but they have a common goal. And Lex, as it were, his aspirations, his ambitions, he understands, and he understands Superman with his kindness, his kind of family values. But he understands all of this. And these are, like, two sides of the coin of James Gun's personality, so, well, it would be easy to work with
. He was writing about himself, roughly speaking. Well, that's always the case with him, basically. You can see it in his films, if the theme of family, for example, is always very important to him. And he said that Superman was the most difficult film of his career. But perhaps the man of tomorrow will break this pedestal, because it's also very difficult for him; well, the work is given in the sense that—not that he directly, he overcomes himself— because the project is very difficult, very big, and, in short, for him, it's some kind of new experience. James Gaghan's opinion about Netflix buying Warner Bros. appeared. He didn't really praise it, but, you know, he didn't say anything particularly negative.
Although, it seems like initially he was somehow silent about something, but now he said: "You know, it hasn't been determined yet, I don't know anything, but like, uh, well, changes will promise a lot of good things and so on.
" Well, he expressed himself neutrally. Although, apparently, he doesn’t really like this idea, because if he sincerely liked it, he would have said: “That’s really cool, we’re waiting for the acquisition.” Lots of great stuff. But I think he also understands perfectly well that this is such a big acquisition. First of all, Netflix is already a giant. This will kill movie theaters. James Gunn has always been for movie theaters, he’s always supported them as much as possible, they have releases. And it’s not like he’s, you know, only for streaming. He likes theatrical releases too. That’s it. And here it’s like Netflix. Well, in short, it seems to me that he’s just like: “ Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine. Avatar 3.” Well, I don’t know whether you were expecting it or not, but the film has sort of broken even. Basically, it’s already grossed over a billion.
What’s its budget? 400. Well, it will definitely break even. It’s already grossed over a billion. From there, the box office will continue to grow. So, it has a good release window. If you were wondering, "How on earth is this franchise doing this? Well, Avatar is a well-known franchise." So, with the
first film, James Cameron just, I don't know, made a name for himself. With the second film, people were like, "What's going to happen in the sequel? There haven't been any sequels in years.
What's going to happen? Let's go see it ." It made money at the box office. The third film seemed to get so-so reviews. Like, well, it's just beautiful, but a bit empty. But people still keep going, because what else was there to watch during the New Year holidays? Like, there weren't any big competitors. Well , there was, like, Supreme, I forgot, Marti Supreme with Timati Shalom, but that's a more niche, narrow film. And here, Avatar is for the whole family, it's very beautiful. You go and watch about the unforgettable world of Pandora. Here's the third part. A well-known franchise. And, of course,
people are like, "Yeah, let's go there. " And so the money is coming in. And so , Avatar has already raised over a billion. But nevertheless, uh, The Holiday Reporter reports that Disney and James Cameron will have until the end of this month to decide what to do with Avatar. So, it's clear that filming is underway, I'm telling you, there will definitely be a fourth Avatar, they're not shutting it down.
Disney won't, they'll keep giving it. So, while the money is raising, believe me, everything will keep coming out. That's the first thing. Secondly, James Cameron, well, it seems he's a little tired, and he has an idea: either he'll direct the fourth part himself, and then he'll somehow still keep the course himself, or he'll step aside and be more of an assistant producer, and someone else will take his place as a full-fledged director. And the most interesting thing about these rumors is that James One, who's responsible for the saw, was responsible for the curse, or wait, the curse, or Astra, he removed the curse, I think, yes, the curse. There. He said: "I can replace James Camera." I can film Avatar 4.
Marvel's Wonder Man, which is coming out this month. First of all, a new poster appeared, where the W on the Hollywood sign says Wonder Man. And there's also Trevor Slate, who's an actor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There. And I haven't watched this new trailer yet, because it came out on January 1st. Uh, I didn't release any reaction, but I waited to watch it with you in the news right away and, basically, evaluate what happened.
Let's, basically, watch it together. Let's watch. You got this, man. You just got to go out there and crush it. Well, that's how they remembered his
past. Well, by the way, the trailer is edited really well. He'll gradually gain powers, apparently. I was born to play this character, acting some of everything I've experienced. In my opinion, the trailer is one of the best ever for a Marvel series. They had an awesome one for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, I remember the trailer for the Super Bowl. Well, One Vision did a lot of good stuff there. Loki had amazing trailers there. Well, I can count them on my fingers, but nevertheless, this looks like a really cool project. I understand that it's very niche, and it's not a Marvel project in the usual sense. Yes, it's more about acting, about some funny stuff. It's a comedy, but with superpowers mixed in. That's my taste, it's cool. On the contrary, I'm looking forward to it. And it looks like all the episodes will be released on January 27th at once. I'll be watching it live. So, it's just a little bit left, like two weeks, and then we'll be watching this series. Well, I kind of think it might not do well. And in general, if you've noticed a trend, Marvel only releases projects in one day that they realize are, like, maybe not particularly interesting to anyone, and they just release a bunch of them, like, yeah, watch it, please. But when they realize people will watch, they drag them out for weeks. But still, the actors are amazing, I like the concept.
What else is there? Well, Marvel is a sign of quality, right? And it's probably interesting that at the end, this agent from Damage Control shows up . And more and more often, if you watched my video about the changes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in previous phases, I pointed out in Damage Control that it needs to have more influence on the street level.
They're doing the same here. And plus there are the directors, well, Destin Creteton was already the showrunner, I think, but he definitely directed the first episode, who is now filming
Spider-Man 4. I hope, in terms of visuals, I really like it. Um, so I hope he used some of the Wonder Man tricks in this one too. Well, and he also filmed Shang-Shanchi, yes. And the new promo showed a full look at the suit. Well, as a full look, of course, you can’t see the whole suit, but you can get the general idea. There are glasses, there’s already that signature sleeveless jacket. It looks very comic book-like, yes, people have already started comparing it to Sam Wilson on Twitter, who is from, I think , Civil War or even Captain America II.
His suit isn’t really that similar, but overall the suit looks nice. Batman 2, which is directed by Matt Reeves. Quick news. Sebastian Stan may play Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. The story is simple. Jeff Snyder, an insider, said that Sebastian Stan was auditioned for some role in Batman 2, that is, they are considering him. And most likely, it will be Two-Face Harvey Dent. By the way, it’s also possible that Scarlett Johansson, who was also mentioned, will play, perhaps, Harvey Dent’s wife. Uh , well, we’re not talking about that now. And everyone is like, “Wow,
great casting, this Two-Face Sebastian Stan.” He really fits the bill, in my opinion, both in terms of comics, and Sebastian Stan is a great actor in general, I don’t see any downsides at all. Great. I’ll only be happy for him. And the most interesting thing is that the person who does, well, how to say it, hair, styling, in short, the stylist, Sebastian Stan’s stylist, he’s already started posting on social media. He’s like, “Oh, he started making fan art, like bam-bam.
” Well, that guy's already getting ready to do that Two-Face hairstyle. Anyway, he's already apparently happy about getting the role. I don't know if that's confirmation. I don't think so.
He's more like happy that it might actually happen. It's unlikely Sebastian Stan was the first to tell him, but it's still a funny plus that it could actually happen. And the final nail in the coffin of confirmation that Sebastian Stan will actually play the role is that THR released an article where they said, "Yes, indeed, he's playing Harvident." It's still unclear whether they're Two-Face or not. I don't think they're going to cast him as a Batman villain right away, only as Harvey, maybe. But maybe in the third film or by the end of the film, he'll become Two-Face. It's not official confirmation yet, but it's as close as it gets. So, when Trifs himself comes out and presents it, or the studio announces it, then yes, it will be official. But, roughly speaking, yes, Sebastian Stan will be in Batman 2.
Well, let me remind you, it's possible that Scarlett Johansson will play his partner, or maybe another character. As for her, nothing is clear yet. Well, and the very authoritative publication Variety confirmed that Barry Kegan will return as the Joker in Batman 2. So, uh , the villain gallery is growing.
Rapunzel, the movie based on the cartoon. You remember that TengDT, the one who played Rapunzel, came out with the Disney cartoon not so long ago, but , of course, they're already planning a remake. And now they've found the actors. And in fact, everything is fine with the cast, because Teagan Croft, whom you may know as Raven from Titans, is, of course, unrecognizable. I honestly didn't realize it at first; if it hadn't been for the caption, I wouldn't have realized it was her.
She's going to play Rapunzel. She's a beautiful girl, and her hair just suits her perfectly. Absolutely no problem. She's going to play Rapunzel, and this Flynn guy will be played by Michael Manheim, who played a zombie musical at Disney. Basically, Disney is cultivating a new Zacphron, a handsome young man. Well, actually, he looks a lot like her, too. He's even even put an avatar of Flynn from the cartoon on some social media site, where he's got that picture of him with the swords, he's already got it. Anyway, it's definitely there. And maybe, maybe, by the way, there have been rumors about this for a while now, but they've just reactivated the idea that the leading contender for the role of Mother Gothel is, of course, Kathryn Hahn. She's visually perfect. Well, Kathryn Hahn plays the role perfectly, I'm sure. But I really hope she gets cast, because it's supposed to boost her career. Yes, the role will be similar to what she played in One Day Vision, and in Aga, and elsewhere. Although, for example, she's not at all in the film studio.
But now, apparently, after Marvel, they're starting to throw some evil women at her. Welcome to Derry. Finn Wolfkard, who's Mike from OSD, but he also played in ANO. You remember Richie , he shared that back when the films were coming out, Andy Muschietti told him about some project that was also connected to ANO. And this agreement is still in effect. That is, they had been discussing something for a long time, back in 2021, they agreed, and now the series is coming out, and he's saying that the agreement is still in place.
In short, he hinted that sooner or later he would appear in some project connected to ANO. Maybe he was referring to, I don't know, the second season, for example, Welcome to Derry, because without spoilers, his small comeo as Finn Wolhard is in the first season, but it's just a flyer, so the actor himself didn't appear. Anyway, maybe something will appear, it will be cool. Super Girl, a small block about that film. First of all, there's a new shot of Miley Alcock in a suit. She has a slightly updated suit there. She has this new belt, this gold one, and the suit fits her great. I mean, you remember I said that David Coronwet's suit seems okay, but it fits a little baggy. It's really puffy. Although David Coronwet has an awesome uniform.
I mean, well, that's it. But on her, the suit is a little more, you know, like the excess air was pumped out and not, well, not really much, it’s not this, you know, not some kind of tight spandex, but it just looks better and more pleasant. But still, that’s not the point now. James Gun also shared, said that he really liked Millilcock.
She gave an amazing performance. Then again, for some reason, he compares the film to Guardians of the Galaxy. Those are the people who are always like, “ This is not Guardians of the Galaxy.” But James Gun himself says that Guardians of the Galaxy and they are very similar. Superhero. Yes, it’s not the same film, but the themes are very similar and all that. Only here it’s based on Tom King’s comics.
That’s how the head of the DC cinematic universe himself speaks. You can really see it in the trailer. Well, it’s as if we’ll keep pushing this theme, pushing it further and further.
But honestly, it feels like they’re just like, “We need to make our own Guardians and galaxies.” Pak News reported that SuperG is a low-budget film. Honestly, I'm not even sure it's low-budget. How much is that? 40 million, hardly 15. So. Well, like, it's probably a smaller budget than Superman. I think that's true because Superman had a bigger cast, and the film somehow seemed to be on a larger scale. Although this one is outrageous, it would seem. Well, I think it's maybe , like, 180-150 million, maybe for SuperG, and it'll easily break even at the box office, yeah, absolutely fantastic. Well, they showed new SuperG promos. They've already started preparing merch for all sorts of notebooks, pencils, pens. Those are the promos. Well, that's nice. We're looking forward to the film. Oh, and of course, again, they might show a new trailer at the Super Bowl, which is approaching in two weeks. Ocean's Friends, you may remember that a new film is in development, and George Clooney—well, Ocean himself, basically—has announced that Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, and Matt Damon will be returning for the new installment. So, almost the entire main cast is returning, and the film will follow the characters as they age.
And, basically, it's harder for them to steal and commit robberies in middle age. So, that's the joke about them being old. Everything's hard for them, their bones are cracking, and they need to break into some bank. But filming starts this year anyway. Well, friends, it's a killer franchise. We're looking forward to the new film, too. Well, I'm at least looking forward to GTA 6, this sudden game reveal from Jason Schreier.
He's a very, very respected gaming insider, a journalist of sorts. He said that GTA might not be released this year. That is, it might be delayed again. Rockstar is completely prepared for this, because it's the biggest project ever for Take, the company that owns Rockstar. They don't have any larger assets. All bets are on this film. So, in short, they want to release a perfect game, with minimal bugs. In fact, it would be better if there weren't any. They're currently running all sorts of tests, etc., etc.
Well, in short, if it gets delayed, they'll do it. So, just be prepared for that. Although, I think I'm prepared. When the game comes out, I'm like, " That's it, it turned out great." You know, I don't really care about it. And there's no real tremors about it being delayed again. It's as if I'm completely calm. Although, of course, I want to play it, but still, it's a new GTA. It's bound to be a phenomenon.
Tu-tu-doo-doo-doo. The A24 Movies section. Well, first of all, the death of Robinhood. I already talked about him. It's a film with Hugh Jackman, where he plays an aged Robin Hood, who pours out his soul, talks about his crimes, his life, adventures, how he shot a bow. There. Well, of course, you have to watch Hugh Jackman. I generally like Robinhood. I like archery. I like everything. A24 is good, beautifully filmed. Well, it seems like something interesting. Like Old Man Logan, but about Robinhood. And there's also a new trailer for the film Undert. It's some kind of new horror film that tells the story of a podcaster, a journalist who was doing something, and she started receiving audio recordings that are scary. There. Well, that is, it has to do with the sound. The film is a horror . And the most interesting thing is that this horror film hasn't been released yet. It will only be released soon, the premiere is on March 13th.
But it's already ready, it was shown at festivals, and it caused a furor. A24 bought the rights to show it for over a million, well, to distribute this film. And the most interesting thing is that the director of this film has already been appointed as the director of a new paranormal activity. So, this is some kind of groundbreaking horror film they made. Well, I mean, if Hollywood has suddenly grabbed hold of some new director, then it will have to be assessed. A few statistics so you understand how Disney makes money. In 2025, Leela&Stitch earned $ 4 billion for Disney. That's without the film, right? The film Leela&Stitch came out.
It, of course, fueled sales of all sorts of toys, merchandise, and other things, well, that's how they made that money, actually. But that's without the film's box office. The film made over a billion dollars on a budget of 100 million. So, it made 10 times, well, 10 times its budget, plus, like, another 4 billion on top in merch. So, when we talk about Avatar, well, when we talk about franchises like this, then, of course, you have to take this into account. Superman comes out, they sell Superman toys, and, of course, they make even more money than the film itself. Deadpool is the same. The Avengers, yes, believe me, they'll make that much money from those licenses.
Let me remind you, if you haven't watched my video on the channel about Marvel, about how the cinematic universe was born, about Stenali, about Aviarad, the whole idea of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is built on making films that are as interconnected as possible to sell toys. So, it's all thought out from the start. So, it's as if Disney knew what they were doing when they bought Marvel for a lot of money, and then multiplied the price, the value. Anyway, that's it. The latest news. It concerns Star Wars.
Dave Filoni and Levin Breach, Stan Breach, will become the new rulers of this Lucas Film. Dave Filoni is known for cartoons and TV series. Well, basically, he knows the Star Wars lore.
Not all fans like him, but one way or another, he's a real fan. And he's truly immersed in the universe. So, this isn't just some corporation that came in, but he's a man from the people who came in to make Star Wars projects.
He's this guy who wears a hat. So yeah, now he'll essentially be like James Gunn for DC, and the woman will be like Peter Safran for DC. She'll be more involved in the producing side of things. And so, this year, they're going to change everything; in theory, there'll even be an official announcement in a couple of weeks. So far, there are just rumors from PKC News. But this has actually been brewing and been talked about for a long time, even for years, I think. And the most unusual thing is that Shawn Levy shared the news that Tom Cruise filmed a lightsaber fight for the new movie, the one with Ryan Gosling. So, you'll watch some fight there, and you'll know that Tom Cruise had a hand in it. Although, it's as if he, you know, was like, "Tom Cruise filmed a fight for us." And people will watch.
What kind of nonsense did they film? What is he Levitating? What did you film? But he said that Tom Cruise filmed it. Oh well. Well, it's like, you know, he kind of abdicated this responsibility a little. Well, let's see what Tom Cruise filmed. Maybe Ryan Gosling is spinning around like a hamster on a wheel and waving his sword . We'll see. That's all. Thanks for watching the first news this year.

Blade's cancellation, a new Avengers
[00:02] (2.52s)
teaser, a secret Stranger Things
[00:04] (4.45s)
episode, and Two-Face in Batman 2.
[00:06] (6.49s)
Hello, Buis and Scouts, Bite here. This
[00:09] (9.40s)
is breaking news, which means we'll be
[00:10] (10.97s)
discussing what interesting things have
[00:12] (12.59s)
happened in the last two weeks. That is
[00:14] (14.86s)
, this is the first episode of the year
[00:16] (16.55s)
. Congratulations to both you and me.
[00:19] (19.62s)
I'm not congratulating you on going
[00:21] (21.33s)
back to work now, the twelfth, but this
[00:23] (23.24s)
episode will be out just in time for
[00:24] (25.00s)
work, for the work week. There's a lot
[00:28] (28.11s)
of news, because there are some really
[00:29] (29.82s)
juicy newsbreaks over the past two
[00:31] (31.36s)
weeks. Well, these are, of course, very
[00:33] (33.80s)
strange things. They've been abuzz for,
[00:35] (35.87s)
well, almost these past two weeks. I
[00:37] (37.93s)
won't spend much time on it, because
[00:39] (39.66s)
everyone who was interested is probably
[00:41] (41.53s)
sick of it, but nevertheless, it's also
[00:43] (43.40s)
impossible not to discuss it. Anyway,
[00:45] (45.46s)
we'll be getting to all of this now.
[00:47] (47.72s)
Thanks for watching. Let's get started.
[00:51] (51.82s)
Those Avengers again. A lot of
[00:53] (53.78s)
Avengers-related stuff is coming out.
[00:55] (55.78s)
Well, of course, the official teasers,
[00:56] (56.98s)
you've seen them, I've posted them on
[00:58] (58.16s)
my channel too. You've probably watched
[00:59] (59.78s)
them separately too. I posted things on
[01:01] (61.75s)
Telegram that haven't been officially
[01:03] (63.61s)
released on YouTube yet. Here you go.
[01:05] (65.42s)
Anyway, let's take it one by one. Well,
[01:06] (66.89s)
the Thor teaser came out, but it came
[01:08] (68.57s)
out right before New Year's, like a
[01:10] (70.17s)
gift under the tree. It was watched,
[01:12] (72.50s)
it's cool, serious, even a little dark,
[01:15] (75.03s)
but very beautiful. There in the forest
[01:17] (77.56s)
, Thor prays to Odin for his survival
[01:19] (79.60s)
and return to his daughter, Lyuba. Well
[01:22] (82.24s)
, who is completely love. That's a
[01:24] (84.06s)
wonderful teaser. Also, at the same
[01:26] (86.20s)
time, a more or less unofficial teaser
[01:28] (88.13s)
for X-Men came out, but now it's online
[01:30] (90.07s)
. I can show it to you. This is an
[01:33] (93.61s)
X-Men teaser featuring Professor X
[01:35] (95.80s)
Charles Xavier, Magneta Eric L. Nsher,
[01:38] (98.25s)
and Cyclops, played by James Marden
[01:43] (103.94s)
from those very same X-Men. It's a
[01:47] (107.69s)
fantastic teaser, the best one yet, the
[01:49] (109.97s)
most, well, I don't know, nostalgic.
[01:53] (113.18s)
Well, because Steve, yeah, we saw him,
[01:55] (115.17s)
yeah, he wasn't there. He was supposed
[01:57] (117.05s)
to have left the cinematic universe,
[01:58] (118.38s)
but anyway, he did appear in Deadpool,
[01:59] (119.78s)
but in a different role. Well, here he
[02:01] (121.74s)
is, returning to the role of Steve
[02:03] (123.40s)
Rogers since Endgame. It's a nice
[02:05] (125.58s)
return, but not exactly wow. It's even
[02:07] (127.93s)
simpler with the story. I mean, we saw
[02:10] (130.11s)
him not that long ago in "Doctor
[02:11] (131.91s)
Strange 4," and here it's just...well,
[02:14] (134.03s)
although some of them have already
[02:15] (135.93s)
appeared there: in "Days of Future Past
[02:18] (138.06s)
," then in "Doctor Strange 2." But
[02:19] (139.96s)
James Marsden, the Cyclops, who's
[02:21] (141.81s)
sitting right there on the destroyed
[02:23] (143.82s)
place [of people] and shooting this
[02:25] (145.78s)
laser—well, it looks awesome.
[02:28] (148.80s)
Well, as per tradition, when the
[02:30] (150.52s)
official teaser comes out, an
[02:32] (152.09s)
unofficial one comes out too, well,
[02:33] (153.97s)
more precisely, a leaked one comes out
[02:36] (156.00s)
next week, that is, on Tuesday, very
[02:37] (157.94s)
soon, a new teaser will come out where
[02:39] (159.97s)
they will show Shuri, where they will
[02:41] (161.96s)
show Nemor, Mbaku, and Ben Grim from
[02:43] (163.89s)
the Fantastic Four. They meet somewhere
[02:46] (166.96s)
in the desert and just get acquainted,
[02:49] (169.72s)
that's all. There's nothing
[02:51] (171.35s)
particularly interesting there. That is
[02:53] (173.26s)
, you can notice that these Wakandans
[02:55] (175.55s)
have new costumes. Well, Shuri as Black
[02:58] (178.02s)
Panther has a little bit of blue added
[02:59] (179.76s)
to her. Nemor has a new costume, they
[03:02] (182.40s)
added this collar from the comics, this
[03:04] (184.48s)
black one. Ben Grim, I think, has the
[03:06] (186.44s)
same costume as he had in the Fantastic
[03:08] (188.02s)
Four. But, in general, no additions are
[03:10] (190.83s)
needed yet. Cool costumes, they're just
[03:13] (193.12s)
getting to know each other. And it
[03:15] (195.67s)
really reminds me of, uh, remember the
[03:17] (197.73s)
introduction scene from Infinity War,
[03:19] (199.73s)
when the heroes arrive in Akanda,
[03:21] (201.53s)
there's Mark Ruffalo, Hulk, Bruce
[03:23] (203.32s)
Banner bows, they're making fun of him.
[03:26] (206.64s)
Well, basically, something like that.
[03:29] (209.28s)
What happens next is still unknown. We
[03:31] (211.81s)
need to wait until Tuesday, then we'll
[03:33] (213.58s)
know, like, whether another teaser will
[03:35] (215.40s)
be released a week in advance or not.
[03:37] (217.32s)
However, there are a lot of different
[03:38] (218.81s)
rumors. Some say there will be five
[03:40] (220.70s)
videos, others say there will be six
[03:42] (222.53s)
videos, and still others say there will
[03:44] (224.51s)
only be four. Uh, here's the trailer
[03:47] (227.55s)
track channel, which, uh, quite often
[03:49] (229.66s)
publishes real information,
[03:51] (231.21s)
specifically the one about trailers.
[03:54] (234.38s)
Especially since it's almost February,
[03:56] (236.15s)
so there's only two weeks left, at the
[03:57] (237.92s)
beginning of February comes out, oh,
[03:59] (239.60s)
it's happening, or rather, the Super
[04:01] (241.28s)
Bowl, where there are a huge number of
[04:03] (243.05s)
trailers. And I'm sure, well, Marvel
[04:04] (244.83s)
will release something there. It's
[04:06] (246.66s)
their base. They promote all the big
[04:09] (249.69s)
films there because it's the most
[04:11] (251.47s)
popular sporting event in the US,
[04:13] (253.25s)
watched on TV. They wouldn't miss the
[04:16] (256.17s)
opportunity to promote, like, their new
[04:18] (258.14s)
crossover, to get people interested. So
[04:20] (260.11s)
there's definitely going to be
[04:20] (260.80s)
something there. And so, supposedly,
[04:22] (262.44s)
they're putting out some kind of
[04:23] (263.93s)
full-fledged teaser trailer on February
[04:25] (265.73s)
8th, and that's when they'll show the
[04:27] (267.45s)
most stuff. Maybe something else will
[04:30] (270.42s)
come out before then, but it seems to
[04:32] (272.35s)
me like, I mean, the concept was that
[04:34] (274.29s)
you show a new teaser for the Avenger
[04:36] (276.22s)
every week for four weeks, or whatever
[04:38] (278.20s)
number of weeks, before Avatar. And
[04:40] (280.93s)
people go, like, watch the teaser and
[04:42] (282.90s)
see Avatars. Avatars are fine, by the
[04:44] (284.87s)
way. We'll talk about that more today.
[04:46] (286.72s)
There you go. And it's kind of weird
[04:48] (288.82s)
that it'll end with Shuri, Nemori, and
[04:51] (291.52s)
Bennigrim. Like, they showed four
[04:53] (293.47s)
teasers. They're kind of normal. I just
[04:56] (296.73s)
mean, how does the concept end? It's
[04:59] (299.28s)
like the final point is the first look
[05:01] (301.35s)
at Doctor Doom. We look at him and are
[05:03] (303.60s)
like, "Cool." And then we'll wait for
[05:05] (305.49s)
the full trailer. Well, that's how I
[05:07] (307.84s)
see it. Then, information appeared
[05:11] (311.01s)
online that some insiders received
[05:12] (312.86s)
promo shots, some promotional materials
[05:14] (314.97s)
for Avengers 5, but they can't publish
[05:17] (317.03s)
them. And there's this Doctor Doom
[05:19] (319.75s)
thing, that is, there's the first
[05:21] (321.44s)
poster of what seems to be a film, and
[05:23] (323.39s)
it shows Doctor Doom playing chess.
[05:25] (325.32s)
It's an Amash of the comics, which had
[05:27] (327.43s)
a cover like that. And now there were
[05:30] (330.37s)
even panels there, where they were,
[05:31] (331.98s)
well, from pages straight from the
[05:33] (333.54s)
comic, where Doctor Doom is playing
[05:35] (335.15s)
chess with characters, and we get this
[05:36] (336.89s)
poster. In my opinion, the idea is
[05:39] (339.99s)
awesome. This, well, will really show
[05:42] (342.25s)
that Doctor Doom knows his stuff.
[05:44] (344.68s)
Although, on the other hand, it seems
[05:46] (346.28s)
to contradict a little the information
[05:47] (347.92s)
that other insiders are giving out.
[05:50] (350.12s)
That is, there's "My Time to Shine
[05:51] (351.50s)
Hello" and the general description of
[05:52] (353.00s)
the film, because Doctor Doom is not
[05:54] (354.46s)
necessarily portrayed as a villain. And
[05:56] (356.81s)
because of that, what's the point of
[05:58] (358.62s)
making a poster where he seems to
[06:00] (360.28s)
control the heroes like pawns? It seems
[06:03] (363.16s)
to ruin some, well, whole concept. I
[06:05] (365.94s)
mean, yes, we understand that Doctor
[06:07] (367.32s)
Doom is a villain. People who haven't
[06:08] (368.91s)
even read the comics always know that
[06:10] (370.46s)
because they could have seen another
[06:11] (371.97s)
movie. Doctor Doom was always a bad guy
[06:14] (374.40s)
. That's it. And here, too, we kind of
[06:15] (375.92s)
imply that, but it seems like the movie
[06:17] (377.32s)
wants to play with it. But more on that
[06:19] (379.10s)
later. Anyway, here's a promo shot. And
[06:21] (381.69s)
then they threw in all sorts of
[06:22] (382.89s)
neuroposters, showing what it might
[06:24] (384.24s)
look like. Then there are various photo
[06:28] (388.00s)
sets: Red Guardian, Steve Rogers with
[06:30] (390.37s)
Mjolner, Reed Richards, the Sentry, uh,
[06:32] (392.85s)
Doctor Doom holding a shield and sword.
[06:36] (396.69s)
Then he's there with that belt, then
[06:39] (399.60s)
Elena in the X-Mansion. Well, in short,
[06:42] (402.34s)
lots and lots of different materials.
[06:44] (404.98s)
And the most interesting thing is that
[06:46] (406.77s)
they definitely appeared on Twitter, I
[06:48] (408.56s)
don't know where they came from, but it
[06:50] (410.40s)
looks 100%like the real thing. I don't
[06:53] (413.98s)
even know if I can post this or not,
[06:55] (415.11s)
because they don't seem to get banned.
[06:56] (417.00s)
I've even seen photos that have already
[06:58] (418.12s)
been cleared of watermarks. Well, I
[07:00] (420.23s)
mean, there are watermarks in the
[07:01] (421.21s)
photos, and people have simply cleaned
[07:02] (422.33s)
them up. I don't know if they were
[07:05] (425.20s)
using neural networks or not, but
[07:06] (426.25s)
nevertheless, they cleaned them up and
[07:07] (427.45s)
got, like, high-quality character
[07:08] (428.50s)
promos. And it doesn't look like neural
[07:12] (432.22s)
networks only because back in 2020, I
[07:15] (435.31s)
received it from, like, a friend who
[07:18] (438.32s)
makes helmets. Uh, basically, there's a
[07:21] (441.71s)
system there where you can buy these
[07:23] (443.45s)
kinds of photosets for some money, so
[07:25] (445.23s)
you can make some kind of, like, merch.
[07:27] (447.68s)
Well, and he makes a helmet there, it's
[07:28] (448.90s)
cool for him in advance. He might, for
[07:30] (450.88s)
example, start making a helmet for
[07:32] (452.72s)
someone, I don't know, a new Red
[07:34] (454.46s)
Guardian suit even before the official
[07:36] (456.51s)
film comes out. So, that's exactly what
[07:39] (459.52s)
happened there. I saw Taskmaster, I saw
[07:41] (461.73s)
Red Guardian, and so on, so on, even
[07:43] (463.25s)
before they appeared in the trailer. I
[07:45] (465.01s)
mean, he sent it to me, showed it to me
[07:46] (466.42s)
. This photoset looks exactly like this
[07:48] (468.59s)
. And especially Steve Roger with long
[07:51] (471.31s)
hair, with Mjolner. This looks like
[07:53] (473.74s)
what will actually be in the film. I
[07:55] (475.87s)
don’t know if I can demonstrate it to
[07:57] (477.22s)
you. Well, the Fantastic Four also
[07:58] (478.72s)
appear there. The only thing they have
[08:01] (481.38s)
is these suit-style jackets, only with
[08:04] (484.10s)
jackets on top. This also looks real.
[08:06] (486.65s)
And there’s a lot, a lot of stuff
[08:07] (487.50s)
there. And there’s a promo for Doctor
[08:09] (489.06s)
Doom. They match up with what we saw in
[08:12] (492.11s)
the promo at that Disney event, where
[08:14] (494.19s)
it seemed like it was just a cartoon
[08:16] (496.20s)
version of Doctor Doom, but, apparently
[08:18] (498.33s)
, this is how he will look in the film.
[08:21] (501.14s)
It’s almost a 100%accurate. He’ll
[08:23] (503.86s)
also have a sword, he’ll have some
[08:25] (505.34s)
kind of big belt. Well, that is to say,
[08:27] (507.50s)
there’s a lot of stuff there that
[08:29] (509.06s)
matches what we’ve already seen. And
[08:31] (511.23s)
this really doesn't look like a neural
[08:32] (512.95s)
network. Although, well, right now it's
[08:34] (514.95s)
unclear how and what to believe. Now
[08:36] (516.70s)
let's go through the inside information
[08:38] (518.01s)
. Dnivar Warpkey reports that Hayley
[08:40] (520.89s)
Atwill, who played Peggy Carter, then
[08:42] (522.83s)
Captain Carter—well, there she is,
[08:44] (524.71s)
you just saw her—will have a big role
[08:46] (526.76s)
in this film. That is, the biggest one
[08:50] (530.51s)
in her journey in the Marvel Cinematic
[08:52] (532.40s)
Universe, she will appear in several
[08:54] (534.20s)
incarnations at once. Well, as I
[08:56] (536.80s)
understand it, the first is Peggy
[08:58] (538.40s)
Carter, that is, as Steve Rogers 'wife.
[09:00] (540.52s)
Next is Captain Carter. Of course, this
[09:02] (542.84s)
is one of her already, it seems, even
[09:04] (544.23s)
more well-known roles in the cinematic
[09:05] (545.65s)
universe. She has appeared there more
[09:07] (547.46s)
often, so what if she is practically
[09:09] (549.10s)
the main character. Well, and then
[09:11] (551.34s)
there is also the possibility of a
[09:13] (553.01s)
female version of Doom, because there
[09:14] (554.82s)
was a speculation online that, well,
[09:16] (556.59s)
there was an inside information that
[09:18] (558.36s)
Doom will also have several different
[09:20] (560.18s)
versions and there will even be,
[09:21] (561.75s)
perhaps, a female version of Doom. So,
[09:24] (564.17s)
for example, why shouldn't she play?
[09:25] (565.74s)
Well, they say it will be important,
[09:27] (567.16s)
maybe she. But overall, Agent Carter
[09:29] (569.84s)
and Captain Carter, I think, are
[09:32] (572.02s)
definitely hers for the roles. Dneykei
[09:35] (575.59s)
also reports that Owen Wilson and
[09:37] (577.43s)
Gwynyth Rowe will be returning to their
[09:39] (579.60s)
roles. The former plays Mobils in Locke
[09:42] (582.35s)
, the latter plays Peots. Well, Ugwyt
[09:44] (584.83s)
Rlt is a whole separate universe there.
[09:47] (587.16s)
I ask her, and it seems like she's
[09:48] (588.79s)
completely out of context. I mean, they
[09:51] (591.06s)
asked her something about The Avengers.
[09:52] (592.46s)
She's like, "What? What's that even
[09:53] (593.70s)
like? What's going on? There was Dune,
[09:55] (595.47s)
I think, and Timothy Shlam or something
[09:57] (597.24s)
asked her about it. She didn't even
[09:58] (598.67s)
watch it." I mean, she lives in her own
[10:01] (601.07s)
world. She didn't know who Tom Holland
[10:03] (603.79s)
was. I mean, Robert Downey Jr. told her
[10:07] (607.51s)
, like, you've acted with him, and
[10:08] (608.72s)
she's like, "Oh, yeah, I didn't know."
[10:11] (611.38s)
Well, that's just how a person is an
[10:13] (613.45s)
actress. Oh well, that's her business.
[10:16] (616.90s)
Next up is My Time to Shine Hello,
[10:18] (618.51s)
which, according to recent rumors and
[10:20] (620.25s)
investigations, turns out to be the
[10:21] (621.91s)
same Danny Warpé, but whatever.
[10:24] (624.88s)
Basically, My Time to Shine Hello
[10:26] (626.30s)
announces a sort of synapsis, I don't
[10:27] (627.89s)
know, a synopsis, or rather, a premise.
[10:31] (631.76s)
Doctor Doom won't be a villain, at
[10:33] (633.82s)
least not in this Doctor Doom's Day in
[10:36] (636.12s)
the fifth film. He'll be presented as
[10:39] (639.74s)
just one of the characters who also
[10:41] (641.60s)
fights invasions. So, the global
[10:44] (644.05s)
villain of the fifth film will be some
[10:46] (646.12s)
sort of invasion. Some kind of natural
[10:49] (649.08s)
threat, a cataclysm on a multiverse
[10:51] (651.93s)
scale, which the heroes will fight. You
[10:55] (655.60s)
know, disaster movies, I don't know,
[10:56] (656.92s)
about floods. And there's no real
[10:58] (658.89s)
villain there. Some character is better
[11:01] (661.81s)
, some character is worse, but the main
[11:04] (664.12s)
evil is the elements. And it's pretty
[11:06] (666.02s)
much the same here. Well, the
[11:07] (667.36s)
description seems to imply that Doctor
[11:09] (669.45s)
Doom comes to the Fantastic Four. That
[11:12] (672.53s)
post-credits scene in Fantastic Four,
[11:14] (674.42s)
where he approaches the kid, Franklin,
[11:16] (676.36s)
it's just a gimmick. He actually comes
[11:19] (679.52s)
to visit, talks to them, and says, "
[11:21] (681.05s)
Here's the problem, let's go." And then
[11:23] (683.76s)
they fly together to the main universe,
[11:25] (685.72s)
where they meet the characters. And
[11:28] (688.13s)
then the plot unfolds, they kind of
[11:30] (690.22s)
fight, trying to prevent the invasion.
[11:33] (693.40s)
Moreover, Doctor Doom, Victor Fondoom,
[11:35] (695.18s)
he's smart, Richards is smart, Shuri is
[11:37] (697.01s)
smart, and there are many, many
[11:38] (698.48s)
characters who also seem to have
[11:39] (699.99s)
brilliant intellects and can deal with
[11:41] (701.77s)
this. So they all unite. And,
[11:45] (705.10s)
apparently, only later, somewhere out
[11:47] (707.08s)
there, Doctor Doom will assume the role
[11:49] (709.16s)
of ruler, and this will be reflected in
[11:51] (711.25s)
the secret wars. That is, it's also a
[11:54] (714.27s)
cool concept, because it doesn't
[11:55] (715.88s)
literally repeat the, uh, concept of "
[11:57] (717.74s)
Infinity War" and "Endgame," where,
[11:59] (719.50s)
like, the villain wins, and then he
[12:01] (721.27s)
loses. And here, like, the villain is
[12:04] (724.90s)
with everyone, but he's, you know, like
[12:06] (726.70s)
when you play King of the Hill with
[12:08] (728.33s)
friends: you can kind of even help each
[12:10] (730.13s)
other, but in the end, someone has to
[12:11] (731.85s)
get there. And like, someone ran faster
[12:14] (734.53s)
than everyone else. And this Doctor
[12:16] (736.64s)
Doom, he's like, "Well, I'll take this
[12:18] (738.39s)
responsibility, and here you go."
[12:21] (741.32s)
Something similar happened in the
[12:23] (743.66s)
comics, with the Times Run Times Runout
[12:26] (746.34s)
, the event that escalated into Secret
[12:29] (749.02s)
Wars. There, either Doctor Doom had to
[12:32] (752.95s)
do it, you know, reset the entire
[12:34] (754.99s)
universe and stop the invasion, or
[12:37] (757.08s)
Doctor Strange. And Doctor Strange
[12:40] (760.04s)
kindly provided this opportunity to
[12:41] (761.87s)
Doctor Doom. He never forgot anything
[12:43] (763.58s)
and was his right hand. And it seems,
[12:45] (765.27s)
judging by the concepts, something
[12:46] (766.94s)
similar will be in the film. Plus, My
[12:49] (769.52s)
Time to Shine Hello says that Nemor and
[12:51] (771.91s)
Sue Storm will have a lot of scenes
[12:54] (774.06s)
together in the desert, which are shown
[12:56] (776.45s)
in the fourth teaser. Honestly, I don't
[12:59] (779.30s)
see it at all. Well, I mean, in the
[13:01] (781.61s)
comics, yes, Sue and Nemor had one,
[13:03] (783.23s)
well, there was also Irit, there was a
[13:04] (784.99s)
love triangle, that is, Nemar loved Sue
[13:06] (786.79s)
Storm, and she sometimes kind of played
[13:08] (788.60s)
along, but basically she loves Reed.
[13:11] (791.84s)
It's like, yeah, she doesn't love you,
[13:13] (793.97s)
she loves me. That's roughly it, but I
[13:18] (798.00s)
just don't see any sense in it at all,
[13:19] (799.59s)
because in the film they showed that
[13:21] (801.11s)
they already have a family, they had a
[13:22] (802.70s)
child, they're all kind of like peas in
[13:24] (804.33s)
a pod. And now they showed us...It
[13:27] (807.09s)
would be strange to try to bring her
[13:28] (808.96s)
closer to Nemra in the next film, where
[13:30] (810.99s)
these characters appear. You could
[13:33] (813.69s)
create some awkward line where Nemra
[13:35] (815.22s)
will try to hit on her, but it seems
[13:36] (816.75s)
weird. Anyway, the last thing—you
[13:40] (820.85s)
might have seen a screenshot online of
[13:43] (823.32s)
some news about the film being 3 hours
[13:45] (825.79s)
and 45 minutes long. And the problem is
[13:49] (829.65s)
, it was posted by a distributor in
[13:51] (831.88s)
Kazakhstan, who promotes the CIS there
[13:54] (834.23s)
—well, Disney's representative in
[13:56] (836.45s)
Kazakhstan—they posted this news. And
[13:59] (839.94s)
this news is real, but it's from an
[14:01] (841.95s)
insider who's not really very reliable.
[14:04] (844.70s)
He just posted it as a rumor. And
[14:07] (847.10s)
there's no basis for it at all. And
[14:09] (849.30s)
they just posted it without specifying
[14:10] (850.50s)
that it was just a rumor, just that the
[14:11] (851.73s)
film would be running the same length.
[14:14] (854.36s)
And people, well, obviously, it's a
[14:15] (855.74s)
Disney representative, like, oh, that's
[14:17] (857.28s)
cool, but that happens. So, that
[14:19] (859.54s)
doesn't mean you have to believe it
[14:21] (861.06s)
verbatim. And I kept getting this
[14:23] (863.58s)
message, like, the official Disney
[14:25] (865.42s)
distributor in Kazakhstan posted this
[14:27] (867.42s)
news. What do you think? It's not that
[14:31] (871.06s)
I think it's impossible that they might
[14:33] (873.08s)
know the film's running time. It's just
[14:35] (875.86s)
that I'm sure even the Russa brothers,
[14:37] (877.75s)
who are directing it, don't know the
[14:39] (879.55s)
running time. It's simply because the
[14:41] (881.49s)
film hasn't even been finished yet.
[14:43] (883.34s)
There will be additional filming in the
[14:44] (884.90s)
spring. The film isn't coming out until
[14:47] (887.04s)
December of this year, and it's January
[14:49] (889.04s)
now. You understand that it hasn't been
[14:50] (890.83s)
fully edited yet. So, it's the same
[14:52] (892.39s)
thing. I'm going to film the news now,
[14:54] (894.05s)
and I won't know how long it's running.
[14:55] (895.72s)
I can roughly estimate, but it's
[14:57] (897.52s)
impossible to know exactly how long it
[14:59] (899.64s)
will be. And it's written down to the
[15:01] (901.00s)
minute. 3 hours 45 minutes. Where did
[15:03] (903.06s)
this information come from? Well, in
[15:04] (904.52s)
short, there's no need to even analyze
[15:06] (906.45s)
it. It's not true. Mahershala Ali's
[15:10] (910.59s)
Blades movie is dead. At least, that's
[15:13] (913.35s)
what insider Jeff Snyder is saying. He
[15:15] (915.26s)
sometimes drops some seriously reliable
[15:18] (918.19s)
tidbit that The Hollywood Reporter can
[15:21] (921.04s)
confirm literally a day later. The
[15:24] (924.27s)
outlet is well-known in Hollywood, so
[15:26] (926.23s)
you can trust it somewhat, but he
[15:27] (927.98s)
leaked it. He's on a podcast, like, "
[15:31] (931.26s)
Blade is dead." But in reality, it's
[15:33] (933.68s)
more of a rumor. He heard it from
[15:35] (935.47s)
someone, like, a broken phone. And then
[15:37] (937.94s)
they told him Blade is dead, the movie
[15:40] (940.44s)
won't happen. Supposedly, it was
[15:42] (942.61s)
canceled. And Mahershala Ali will
[15:44] (944.54s)
appear in the role, but only in
[15:46] (946.25s)
Midnight's Sons. It's unclear whether
[15:47] (947.88s)
this is true or not. Another insider
[15:49] (949.29s)
says no, the film will still happen, it
[15:51] (951.05s)
will still be released. There's a
[15:52] (952.87s)
chance, but only after Midnight's Sons.
[15:56] (956.44s)
But, actually, it's possible to believe
[15:57] (957.84s)
that Blade won't be made because it's
[15:59] (959.17s)
been—and I'm already confused how
[16:00] (960.43s)
many years have passed. Almost six.
[16:03] (963.94s)
Well, I don't remember when. Anyway,
[16:06] (966.48s)
Blade has been in development for a
[16:08] (968.53s)
long time since the announcement. There
[16:11] (971.01s)
have already been several scripts,
[16:12] (972.69s)
several directors. Poor Mahershala Ali
[16:14] (974.90s)
doesn't know where else to star. So I
[16:16] (976.68s)
can fully believe that the film will be
[16:18] (978.20s)
cancelled sooner or later. Yeah. There
[16:20] (980.56s)
was some recent news that Jordan Peele,
[16:22] (982.56s)
uh, and his company might co-produce
[16:24] (984.41s)
this film along with Marvel Studios.
[16:28] (988.12s)
And Jordan Peele will be directing, so
[16:29] (989.95s)
he'll have a lot of creative freedom,
[16:31] (991.74s)
and they'll, in short, make some cool
[16:33] (993.53s)
movie, but it's not a fact. So. Uh,
[16:36] (996.69s)
that's just another guess. I don't know
[16:39] (999.62s)
, I don't know what to say about this
[16:41] (1001.03s)
film. I'm just sad that Mahershala Ali
[16:43] (1003.62s)
even got involved in this, and why they
[16:45] (1005.39s)
even announced it is unclear. But they
[16:47] (1007.94s)
thought they'd make it. It didn't work
[16:49] (1009.90s)
out, they weren't lucky. Now they have
[16:52] (1012.75s)
the fifth Avengers, then the sixth
[16:54] (1014.42s)
Avengers, and then people will go.
[16:57] (1017.08s)
Where they'll put this Blade, I don't
[16:58] (1018.42s)
know. Well, Midnight's Sons is possible
[17:00] (1020.27s)
, if the film is successful, then we
[17:01] (1022.00s)
can film Origin later. But it's as if
[17:03] (1023.99s)
we could find another actor, a younger
[17:06] (1026.22s)
one, to play Plaid. Stranger Things.
[17:08] (1028.86s)
Here they are, my favorites. I even
[17:11] (1031.82s)
have a pendant with this Stranger
[17:13] (1033.58s)
Things. Let's discuss what happened
[17:16] (1036.97s)
there, because it was all the rage
[17:19] (1039.22s)
online, and it seems to have even
[17:21] (1041.40s)
benefited the series, because Netflix
[17:23] (1043.83s)
crashed several times, and people were
[17:26] (1046.33s)
so interested in how much content
[17:28] (1048.51s)
they'd read, it's impossible to
[17:30] (1050.56s)
describe. Anyway, here's the story.
[17:33] (1053.66s)
Everything was calm until season five,
[17:35] (1055.04s)
people were really looking forward to
[17:36] (1056.39s)
it. Season four was incredible. There
[17:38] (1058.62s)
are several episodes that are still the
[17:41] (1061.14s)
most highly rated in the entire series.
[17:43] (1063.80s)
They still look amazing. Well, I mean,
[17:46] (1066.18s)
season four is the peak, yes, the first
[17:48] (1068.06s)
one is conceptually very cool and
[17:49] (1069.66s)
awesome. So, it has its own unique,
[17:52] (1072.29s)
mm-h, juice flavor, because it's a
[17:54] (1074.17s)
mystical series with kids about
[17:55] (1075.89s)
something scary and incomprehensible
[17:57] (1077.88s)
happening in a small town. Cool. And
[18:01] (1081.19s)
it's so good in its own way, cheap. And
[18:03] (1083.74s)
then, well, it started to accelerate,
[18:05] (1085.63s)
becoming more of a blockbuster. And
[18:07] (1087.48s)
then in the fourth season, it was like
[18:09] (1089.06s)
the very, very peak of prime time. And
[18:11] (1091.13s)
then the fifth season everyone was
[18:12] (1092.66s)
waiting for, it started out great, four
[18:14] (1094.41s)
bombastic episodes. And then four more
[18:16] (1096.45s)
episodes came out, no, three more
[18:17] (1098.00s)
episodes came out. And after those, it
[18:20] (1100.08s)
started to go, because it had the
[18:21] (1101.91s)
lowest-rated episode now, the seventh.
[18:24] (1104.12s)
After that, rumors started spreading
[18:25] (1105.77s)
that the Duffer brothers and Netflix in
[18:27] (1107.55s)
general had cut something, because
[18:29] (1109.11s)
there were scenes like that. I still
[18:31] (1111.67s)
believe it a little, actually, even
[18:33] (1113.26s)
though the Dafer brothers deny it, all
[18:34] (1114.98s)
the actors deny it, well, a lot of
[18:36] (1116.53s)
people, but it's as if something, well,
[18:38] (1118.29s)
I don't know, I can believe that it
[18:39] (1119.88s)
could have been, but it's not certain.
[18:42] (1122.50s)
It's like I just partially believe it.
[18:45] (1125.32s)
That's all. Petitions started going
[18:47] (1127.25s)
around asking for a proper version of
[18:49] (1129.25s)
the episodes to be released, because
[18:51] (1131.21s)
it's clear that they skipped some
[18:53] (1133.00s)
things, didn't finish some things, and
[18:55] (1135.06s)
so on. And they were waiting for the
[18:56] (1136.91s)
finale. The finale came out, and it
[18:59] (1139.43s)
backfired even more because a lot of
[19:01] (1141.40s)
people didn't like it. And I can
[19:03] (1143.71s)
understand why. That is, there are a
[19:06] (1146.24s)
number of mistakes, a huge number of
[19:08] (1148.50s)
inaccuracies, questions about how it
[19:10] (1150.77s)
ended, and general plot holes. If
[19:13] (1153.23s)
anything, I won't spoil it. You never
[19:15] (1155.14s)
know, some people here haven't watched
[19:16] (1156.46s)
it yet, but there's no point in
[19:17] (1157.55s)
spoiling it. It's pointless. So, uh,
[19:21] (1161.56s)
the thing is, people are like, well,
[19:23] (1163.25s)
that's what struck me most. And the
[19:25] (1165.70s)
most interesting thing is, I watched
[19:27] (1167.03s)
that finale on January 2nd along with
[19:28] (1168.39s)
the audience. I watched it live. I
[19:31] (1171.13s)
watched it and they said to me, "
[19:32] (1172.38s)
There's this theory." I was like, "
[19:33] (1173.71s)
What's this theory?" So interesting, so
[19:35] (1175.23s)
interesting. And people started, as
[19:38] (1178.45s)
soon as they watched the finale,
[19:40] (1180.56s)
looking for inaccuracies, looking for
[19:42] (1182.99s)
some kind of intricacies, uh, some kind
[19:45] (1185.55s)
of, I don't know, like Easter eggs,
[19:47] (1187.85s)
some kind of hints that there's
[19:49] (1189.89s)
something more, that what we were shown
[19:52] (1192.45s)
is just a game, it's all unreal. And
[19:55] (1195.89s)
it's like a huge PR campaign for the
[19:57] (1197.71s)
real finale, which will come out a
[19:59] (1199.42s)
little later. The original date was
[20:02] (1202.54s)
January 11th, because there was, like,
[20:04] (1204.92s)
a website, where the radio is, this has
[20:07] (1207.37s)
been going on since season five, there
[20:09] (1209.75s)
were, well, in various materials,
[20:11] (1211.83s)
references to something happening on
[20:14] (1214.09s)
January 11th. Like, a secret episode
[20:16] (1216.54s)
will come out on January 11th. I told
[20:18] (1218.53s)
the guys right away that it sounded
[20:20] (1220.12s)
cool. I looked at all this material,
[20:22] (1222.91s)
studied it, it sounds cool, but I can't
[20:24] (1224.44s)
believe it, because I've already lived
[20:25] (1225.94s)
through it all. This happened, at least
[20:28] (1228.76s)
with Sherlock. If you remember, I
[20:31] (1231.51s)
remember being there on January 1st, it
[20:32] (1232.96s)
was the same thing on New Year's Eve,
[20:34] (1234.34s)
January 1st, and they leaked another
[20:35] (1235.69s)
episode. Anyway, Sherlock came out on
[20:38] (1238.49s)
January 1st, people watched it and were
[20:39] (1239.90s)
like, "No, this is some kind of
[20:41] (1241.02s)
, we don't like it." And people
[20:43] (1243.22s)
really got the theory going back then.
[20:44] (1244.87s)
Well, this happened with several series
[20:46] (1246.62s)
, there was Killing Eve, I think, and
[20:48] (1248.32s)
some other small-scale ones, but it was
[20:50] (1250.11s)
really big with Sherlock. I remember
[20:51] (1252.00s)
people really thought the BBC had
[20:53] (1253.97s)
fooled everyone and there would be a
[20:56] (1256.13s)
secret episode. Well, many years have
[20:58] (1258.20s)
passed, and that episode, as you
[20:59] (1259.31s)
understand, doesn't exist. I don't
[21:01] (1261.09s)
remember any talk of a secret episode
[21:02] (1262.45s)
with Game of Thrones. Everyone was just
[21:03] (1263.95s)
unhappy there. The same thing happened
[21:05] (1265.64s)
here. And, well, I remember all those
[21:08] (1268.13s)
theories about Infinity War, about
[21:10] (1270.05s)
Fist's Wandavi Vision. I mean, I've
[21:13] (1273.01s)
been there before, I'm not new to this
[21:14] (1274.68s)
ranch, so I understand it all. And it
[21:17] (1277.48s)
was cool for me. I mean, you know, I
[21:19] (1279.59s)
watched all those theories with real
[21:21] (1281.54s)
nostalgia and some kind of, I don't
[21:23] (1283.44s)
know, pleasant feeling. I'll finish
[21:25] (1285.90s)
telling my story later. Anyway, I
[21:28] (1288.38s)
watched it and said, "Guys, this isn't
[21:29] (1289.71s)
true. This isn't going to happen. Well,
[21:31] (1291.02s)
believe me, it's simply because, well,
[21:32] (1292.74s)
Netflix wouldn't do that. It sounds
[21:34] (1294.72s)
cool coming from the fans. It's really,
[21:37] (1297.24s)
really Rockabilly, somehow cool. And in
[21:39] (1299.61s)
general, it would be, well,
[21:41] (1301.09s)
mind-blowing if they did that. But
[21:43] (1303.07s)
corporations don't do that. They're big
[21:44] (1304.66s)
machines, there's huge money involved.
[21:46] (1306.30s)
They won't take such risks and do some
[21:48] (1308.12s)
kind of marketing ploy like that
[21:49] (1309.66s)
haphazardly. So it won't happen. But it
[21:51] (1311.87s)
sounds cool, yeah. Time passes, and
[21:54] (1314.63s)
then the date moves to January 7th.
[21:56] (1316.90s)
Even more theories. I even sat for a
[21:59] (1319.14s)
few days, studying it all on Twitter,
[22:01] (1321.43s)
scrolling through. I'm just like," I
[22:04] (1324.33s)
have a free minute, I'm not the news, I
[22:06] (1326.30s)
see there was no news, it's the January
[22:08] (1328.28s)
holidays, everyone's resting. "And I
[22:10] (1330.20s)
was just hopping on Twitter and just
[22:12] (1332.24s)
looking at some guesses, theories,
[22:14] (1334.16s)
inaccuracies. And Look. That's why,
[22:16] (1336.37s)
that's why, er, confirmity gate, I
[22:18] (1338.48s)
think it's a hashtag, if I pronounced
[22:20] (1340.78s)
it correctly. So, anyway, on January
[22:22] (1342.74s)
7th, and I was like," Damn, this is so
[22:24] (1344.40s)
cool. "I mean, I knew it wouldn't
[22:26] (1346.04s)
happen, but I was really interested in
[22:27] (1347.77s)
studying it. I've been living with
[22:29] (1349.30s)
these theories for a few days. It's
[22:30] (1350.82s)
cool. Well, there are a lot of plot
[22:33] (1353.00s)
holes, a lot of inaccuracies, a lot of
[22:35] (1355.06s)
stuff. The Daffer brothers added fuel
[22:38] (1358.01s)
to the fire, because they came out,
[22:40] (1360.16s)
started giving interviews, and then one
[22:42] (1362.56s)
of the Daffer brothers says," Damn, I
[22:44] (1364.83s)
was actually sick, and I said something
[22:47] (1367.22s)
nonsense. Don't think that I, well,
[22:49] (1369.88s)
anyway, erase it from your memory. I
[22:52] (1372.18s)
said something nonsense. I was like, "
[22:55] (1375.18s)
Well, in general, the Daffer brothers
[22:57] (1377.12s)
have a brilliant explanation. It talks
[22:59] (1379.59s)
about why there were no Dimagorgans and
[23:01] (1381.87s)
the rest." These are not spoilers. Well
[23:04] (1384.44s)
, like, Ah, yeah, I didn't know. Vecna,
[23:08] (1388.54s)
I just didn't know. Okay, that's kind
[23:10] (1390.93s)
of funny. Well, in the end, nothing
[23:12] (1392.77s)
came of it. Although there's a lot of
[23:14] (1394.14s)
confirmation, people still believe,
[23:15] (1395.22s)
they're still guessing, but it didn't
[23:16] (1396.37s)
happen, alas. But it created a huge
[23:19] (1399.07s)
amount of movement, a huge number of
[23:20] (1401.00s)
vertical videos, a huge number of
[23:22] (1402.77s)
theories, posts on social media. It
[23:25] (1405.44s)
really pushed this whole finale forward
[23:27] (1407.08s)
. And then, on January 12th, I think it
[23:29] (1409.69s)
airs, and it turns out, yeah, today it
[23:31] (1411.56s)
airs, or probably tonight, uh, anyway,
[23:33] (1413.42s)
a special episode, a little featurette
[23:35] (1415.28s)
about how the fifth season came
[23:36] (1416.81s)
together. There you go. Well, the story
[23:39] (1419.86s)
is cool. It's really, well, it will
[23:42] (1422.35s)
also be remembered in history. Of
[23:44] (1424.66s)
interest, the Duffer brothers probably
[23:46] (1426.51s)
also announced a spinoff of Stranger
[23:48] (1428.27s)
Things. It will be that series. It
[23:50] (1430.13s)
won't be at all, it's not a fact that
[23:52] (1432.01s)
it's in the 1980s. Most likely, it
[23:53] (1433.61s)
won't be in the 1980s. I don't know, in
[23:55] (1435.10s)
our time. No, they didn't just say a
[23:56] (1436.48s)
different time period, different actors
[23:57] (1437.86s)
, a different city, everything
[23:58] (1438.96s)
different. Absolutely everything. But
[24:01] (1441.01s)
they'll talk about one artifact, one
[24:02] (1442.94s)
magafin, that appeared in season five.
[24:05] (1445.20s)
In my opinion, that's a lazy move,
[24:06] (1446.91s)
because it's weird to make a series out
[24:08] (1448.87s)
of it. But I hope there really is some
[24:11] (1451.65s)
other theory there, like it's just a
[24:13] (1453.32s)
teaser. I mean, it's a really cool
[24:16] (1456.18s)
concept, that's all. But in general,
[24:17] (1457.91s)
the Dafer brothers have already left
[24:18] (1458.95s)
for Paramant, and they'll be working on
[24:20] (1460.08s)
projects there. So, the fact that
[24:22] (1462.30s)
they're at Netflix means they're just
[24:23] (1463.79s)
staying on as producers, assistants,
[24:25] (1465.24s)
but they won't be the ones running the
[24:26] (1466.77s)
project. Judging by the reactions to
[24:30] (1470.16s)
the finale, well, that's actually a
[24:31] (1471.66s)
plus for people. Well, there's also
[24:34] (1474.23s)
this, yeah, paradoxical thing: there's
[24:36] (1476.16s)
an actress who played Mama Max in the
[24:38] (1478.03s)
series, and she was supposed to play
[24:39] (1479.85s)
her role in season five, but they just
[24:41] (1481.77s)
didn't invite her. So she was supposed
[24:44] (1484.45s)
to appear in a scene where...I think I,
[24:46] (1486.40s)
I didn't understand at first, she said,
[24:48] (1488.35s)
it seems like they even filmed it, then
[24:50] (1490.30s)
cut it out. But nevertheless, she was
[24:52] (1492.72s)
just battling cancer there, she went
[24:54] (1494.09s)
into remission, well, it's like...to
[24:55] (1495.46s)
create, well, these Duffer brothers
[24:56] (1496.79s)
were just afraid that she might not
[24:58] (1498.12s)
live to see the airing of the series,
[24:59] (1499.53s)
although that's also strange. And, in
[25:02] (1502.06s)
short, they didn't include her
[25:03] (1503.48s)
appearance, although she showed up at
[25:05] (1505.21s)
Max's hospital. Well, and sort of
[25:07] (1507.21s)
checked on her daughter, which sounds
[25:08] (1508.93s)
quite logical. And now this is one of
[25:11] (1511.05s)
the plot holes, like they don't show
[25:13] (1513.07s)
the child's mother, where she's been
[25:15] (1515.08s)
all this time and why she didn't show
[25:17] (1517.15s)
up. Spider-Man 4: A New Day. Eman
[25:20] (1520.88s)
Efandi, who has already played in
[25:22] (1522.83s)
Ahsoka, well, he's played in many
[25:24] (1524.77s)
places, but in Ahsoka he has a
[25:26] (1526.54s)
memorable role, he might play a guy, a
[25:28] (1528.77s)
new guy for Znday MJ's character in
[25:30] (1530.82s)
Spider-Man 4. This is just a rumor for
[25:33] (1533.05s)
now. He appears in the trailer, but the
[25:35] (1535.97s)
thing is, the trailer that's leaked is
[25:37] (1537.74s)
in bad quality. It's even been leaked a
[25:40] (1540.41s)
few times, but it's in bad quality. And
[25:43] (1543.40s)
they show a scene where MJ has a new
[25:45] (1545.64s)
boyfriend. Who plays him, and there's
[25:47] (1547.53s)
some kind of party, nothing visible.
[25:49] (1549.02s)
Well, it looks like it's him, but it
[25:49] (1549.96s)
doesn't look like it's him. Well,
[25:51] (1551.13s)
that's the insight for now, if you care
[25:53] (1553.59s)
. There's also information that the
[25:55] (1555.34s)
trailer that was leaked before will
[25:57] (1557.03s)
officially be released in January. It
[25:58] (1558.87s)
might appear online on January 20th.
[26:01] (1561.50s)
This is because the Avengers teasers
[26:03] (1563.23s)
are just ending, and after that, Sony
[26:05] (1565.00s)
can't release it in the same week as
[26:06] (1566.73s)
the Avengers. It would be competition.
[26:09] (1569.95s)
And the Spider-Man trailer is about to
[26:11] (1571.77s)
come out. I don't know, if that's the
[26:13] (1573.28s)
case, it's a really powerful
[26:14] (1574.12s)
advertising campaign. They've kind of
[26:16] (1576.42s)
hijacked December and January with the
[26:18] (1578.17s)
Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they're
[26:19] (1579.92s)
saying they might wait until the Super
[26:21] (1581.67s)
Bowl. In any case, I think Sony will
[26:24] (1584.66s)
also release something at the Super
[26:26] (1586.13s)
Bowl and somehow promote Spider-Man,
[26:27] (1587.64s)
because again, it's a very important
[26:29] (1589.15s)
project, and they'll want to make as
[26:30] (1590.66s)
much money as possible. But another
[26:33] (1593.96s)
insider, Reddit Guy, reports that the
[26:35] (1595.97s)
trailer for Daredevil: Reborn season 2
[26:38] (1598.05s)
will be released first in February,
[26:39] (1599.96s)
followed by trailers for the Special
[26:41] (1601.92s)
and Spider-Man. It's like, projects
[26:45] (1605.18s)
will be promoted the way they're
[26:47] (1607.16s)
released. Like, Daredevil, it's coming
[26:49] (1609.86s)
out in the spring, the first trailer
[26:51] (1611.90s)
comes out, then the Special, apparently
[26:54] (1614.05s)
, and then Spider-Man. Or maybe they'll
[26:56] (1616.54s)
switch up the Spider-Specials a bit.
[26:58] (1618.35s)
It's like, you have to wait, but it's
[27:00] (1620.35s)
not a given that there'll be a big gap.
[27:03] (1623.26s)
Like, maybe one week, you know, like
[27:05] (1625.18s)
February 15th for Daredevil, then a
[27:07] (1627.06s)
week later for the Special, and then
[27:08] (1628.98s)
Spider-Man the following week. That
[27:11] (1631.94s)
would be cool too, because these
[27:13] (1633.51s)
projects are closely connected, at
[27:15] (1635.18s)
least by the Punisher thing. And to tie
[27:17] (1637.63s)
them together like this and gradually
[27:19] (1639.89s)
promote them. What struck me a little,
[27:22] (1642.67s)
DiS, is that Max from Stranger Things.
[27:25] (1645.56s)
She plays in Spider-Man 4. And she said
[27:27] (1647.71s)
in an interview that she first learned
[27:29] (1649.81s)
about her role in Spider-Man 4 from the
[27:31] (1651.96s)
internet. And this kind of news
[27:33] (1653.74s)
sometimes confuses me, how things work
[27:35] (1655.82s)
in Hollywood. That is, the producers
[27:38] (1658.80s)
were sort of deciding behind her back
[27:40] (1660.81s)
whether she would play the role or not,
[27:42] (1662.93s)
and this is, you know, such a
[27:44] (1664.52s)
well-developed rumor system that it
[27:46] (1666.43s)
appeared online faster than the actress
[27:48] (1668.55s)
herself was asked. So, you know, rumors
[27:51] (1671.18s)
had already been circulating for a
[27:52] (1672.18s)
while that she would play the role.
[27:53] (1673.66s)
Well, of course, you know, for example,
[27:55] (1675.01s)
Marvel Studios are sitting there and
[27:56] (1676.25s)
asking, "So, who, who could play this
[27:57] (1677.53s)
character?" They're just spreading the
[27:59] (1679.68s)
word. Someone who's pushing this whole
[28:02] (1682.43s)
Lily thing with the insider is saying
[28:04] (1684.17s)
that sadistic may be coming, but the
[28:05] (1685.87s)
actress hasn't even heard of it yet.
[28:08] (1688.86s)
She has no idea they're even
[28:10] (1690.09s)
considering her, she's completely
[28:11] (1691.52s)
unaware, they'll just ask her and then
[28:13] (1693.17s)
she'll decide whether to accept or not.
[28:14] (1695.00s)
That's how it goes in Hollywood. That's
[28:17] (1697.48s)
how it is. Although, logically, of
[28:18] (1698.99s)
course, they should compile some kind
[28:20] (1700.82s)
of list of potential actors, ask around
[28:22] (1702.69s)
, and then, you know, once some more
[28:24] (1704.47s)
concrete discussions are underway, this
[28:26] (1706.40s)
has appeared online. Well, now, even at
[28:28] (1708.70s)
this stage, everything is already
[28:30] (1710.46s)
leaking. And there's also this rumor
[28:33] (1713.14s)
about Dnila RPK, that Sony is now ready
[28:35] (1715.28s)
to hand over the opportunity to Marvel
[28:37] (1717.37s)
to make a Spider-Man movie and all the
[28:39] (1719.46s)
characters around him. Let me remind
[28:42] (1722.04s)
you that a long time ago, in the late
[28:43] (1723.98s)
1990s, when Marvel went bankrupt, they
[28:45] (1725.98s)
sold the rights to the characters and
[28:47] (1727.92s)
sold a whole bunch of them to Sony,
[28:49] (1729.76s)
including Spider-Man. That's why Sony
[28:51] (1731.70s)
makes all the Spider-Man movies. And
[28:54] (1734.10s)
now, due to the failures of their
[28:55] (1735.96s)
spinoffs with Venom, Kravon the Hunter,
[28:58] (1738.16s)
Morbius, and others, and Adam Web, Sony
[29:00] (1740.35s)
doesn't know what to do and is ready to
[29:02] (1742.55s)
let Marvel make films about all these
[29:04] (1744.63s)
characters. This is actually good news,
[29:07] (1747.30s)
if that's how it goes. Continuing with
[29:09] (1749.74s)
our series from last year, Warner Bros.
[29:12] (1752.14s)
is buying. You remember that Netflix is
[29:14] (1754.27s)
currently the main buyer. And judging
[29:16] (1756.54s)
by everything, well, judging by what
[29:18] (1758.16s)
Netflix and Warner Bros. are doing,
[29:19] (1759.73s)
they've already reached an agreement;
[29:21] (1761.39s)
they're not interested in anything at
[29:23] (1763.04s)
all. They're like, "Yeah, it's all
[29:24] (1764.68s)
great." Although the deal hasn't been
[29:26] (1766.78s)
officially approved yet, either by the
[29:28] (1768.34s)
antitrust service or by the whole thing
[29:29] (1769.90s)
. Paromaunt is still struggling, but
[29:31] (1771.92s)
we'll get back to that in a moment. So,
[29:34] (1774.18s)
uh, Sarasota, who runs Netflix, which
[29:36] (1776.23s)
is what Warner Bros. is buying, he said
[29:38] (1778.39s)
that, well, if we buy it, well, well,
[29:40] (1780.44s)
like, he doesn't say anything like, "
[29:42] (1782.44s)
We'll give Warner Bros. 17 days of
[29:44] (1784.33s)
distribution." So, for example, a movie
[29:47] (1787.94s)
, I don't know, comes out, uh,
[29:49] (1789.55s)
something comes out at Warner Bros.,
[29:51] (1791.47s)
like Superman 2—it will run in
[29:53] (1793.18s)
theaters for 17 days, and then it will
[29:55] (1795.21s)
immediately appear on HBO or Netflix,
[29:57] (1797.18s)
well, and both, for example, you know,
[29:59] (1799.20s)
it will appear digitally, and people
[30:01] (1801.12s)
will be able to watch it. That's the
[30:03] (1803.77s)
policy. Like, all Warner Bros. films,
[30:05] (1805.39s)
yes, they will be released in theaters.
[30:06] (1806.88s)
So, no problem at all, we are ready to
[30:09] (1809.37s)
support them for 17 days. Well, as you
[30:12] (1812.18s)
understand, this is complete nonsense,
[30:14] (1814.11s)
because I can personally say that if
[30:15] (1815.93s)
they tell me, for example, Avengers 5
[30:17] (1817.81s)
is coming out and in 17 days it will be
[30:19] (1819.79s)
in theaters. Oh, come on, I'll wait 17
[30:22] (1822.12s)
days. I mean, you know, like, if it's
[30:24] (1824.95s)
not showing here, I'll be like, "Damn,
[30:26] (1826.81s)
where am I supposed to watch it? Maybe
[30:30] (1830.19s)
I should fly to another country and
[30:31] (1831.86s)
watch it in Avengers: Episode 5 so I
[30:33] (1833.57s)
can quickly shoot a video for the guys
[30:35] (1835.37s)
and, well, it's spoilers and all that.
[30:38] (1838.08s)
17 days, but basically, you can survive
[30:39] (1839.46s)
it in a bunker somewhere." Well, I'm
[30:41] (1841.21s)
joking, of course, but basically, I
[30:43] (1843.28s)
mean, 17 days and for the average
[30:45] (1845.22s)
person it's like, "Well, the movie came
[30:47] (1847.52s)
out, damn, it's cool. I want to see
[30:49] (1849.81s)
what's coming home in 17 days." Oh,
[30:52] (1852.03s)
come on, I'll wait. I mean, you see,
[30:53] (1853.60s)
that's basically two weeks. Well,
[30:54] (1854.92s)
what's the wait and that's it, and the
[30:56] (1856.61s)
movie is on digital in some excellent
[30:58] (1858.26s)
4K quality or something. I mean, it's
[31:00] (1860.16s)
like, it's nothing. And people won't
[31:01] (1861.85s)
want to go to the cinema at all. And
[31:04] (1864.06s)
the reputable Deadline portal, well,
[31:06] (1866.28s)
quite well-known worldwide, reported
[31:08] (1868.50s)
that if this happens, it will
[31:10] (1870.30s)
completely destroy movie theaters
[31:12] (1872.34s)
because they won't survive with such a
[31:14] (1874.68s)
schedule. Well, Warner Bros. is a huge
[31:17] (1877.92s)
company, they have a lot of releases,
[31:19] (1879.75s)
yes, that's not the only thing, but
[31:21] (1881.48s)
nevertheless, they will lose a lot,
[31:23] (1883.22s)
well, that is, movie theaters will lose
[31:25] (1885.14s)
many, many different releases, many
[31:26] (1886.88s)
films that will simply be shown for 17
[31:28] (1888.76s)
days. This is nonsense. That's it. But
[31:32] (1892.11s)
this Sarans didn't really consult with
[31:33] (1893.54s)
them; they just said how they would do
[31:34] (1894.96s)
it, so it's not a question, let's say.
[31:37] (1897.84s)
And finally, it's Paramount. Paramount
[31:40] (1900.70s)
was told again for the eighth time, I
[31:42] (1902.07s)
think, they were rejected, they were
[31:43] (1903.40s)
told for the eighth time. Thank you, no
[31:45] (1905.07s)
thanks. They were kind of hinted, "If
[31:47] (1907.26s)
you offer more money, we'll consider it
[31:49] (1909.52s)
." So, Warner Bros. is basically
[31:51] (1911.48s)
pushing them back and forth. Paramot
[31:53] (1913.73s)
really wants to buy Warner Bros., but,
[31:56] (1916.02s)
well, you see, there's already a deal.
[31:58] (1918.54s)
They have Netflix. Cool. They offered
[32:01] (1921.67s)
us such-and-such a large sum, but still
[32:04] (1924.06s)
. And they're offering more, more, more
[32:05] (1925.95s)
. Already bigger than Netflix. They're
[32:07] (1927.83s)
like, "No, thanks, we're not interested
[32:09] (1929.08s)
." I mean, it's unclear what all the
[32:10] (1930.65s)
fuss is going on. But for now, that's
[32:12] (1932.23s)
it. DC news. I've collected them in one
[32:14] (1934.95s)
block because they're all, you know, a
[32:16] (1936.74s)
hodgepodge. First of all, James Ga
[32:19] (1939.34s)
isn't ruling out a Christmas special
[32:21] (1941.37s)
for the DCEU. He's already done
[32:23] (1943.56s)
something similar for the Marvel
[32:24] (1944.61s)
Cinematic Universe. And it's a
[32:26] (1946.01s)
fantastic special. I rewatched it, I've
[32:28] (1948.34s)
watched all sorts of specials from
[32:29] (1949.88s)
different series, different projects.
[32:31] (1951.78s)
And one of them was Guardians. I
[32:33] (1953.35s)
rewatched it for the first time since
[32:35] (1955.53s)
it premiered. And it's just amazing. I
[32:37] (1957.71s)
mean, it looks expensive, cool,
[32:40] (1960.00s)
absolutely amazing. And the Christmas
[32:43] (1963.04s)
spirit there is a kind of New Year's
[32:45] (1965.68s)
mood, it's very sad, and joyful, and
[32:48] (1968.32s)
cheerful, yes, absolutely amazing. And
[32:50] (1970.95s)
I would like to see something like that
[32:51] (1971.98s)
, for example, in the DCEU. Why not?
[32:53] (1973.64s)
That is, if, for example, they were to
[32:55] (1975.62s)
film "Superman 2" there, then they
[32:57] (1977.41s)
would devote a little more budget and
[32:59] (1979.34s)
time to the locations, but without
[33:01] (1981.12s)
having to rush actors back and forth,
[33:03] (1983.06s)
they could immediately film some
[33:04] (1984.74s)
special there and then release a
[33:06] (1986.42s)
half-hour piece somewhere on a
[33:08] (1988.00s)
streaming service as a separate piece
[33:09] (1989.94s)
and raise money there at Christmas. So,
[33:12] (1992.57s)
it would be cool, cool to kill two
[33:14] (1994.06s)
birds with one stone: more content, and
[33:15] (1995.76s)
not spend so much money, so that, you
[33:17] (1997.38s)
know, there would be no need to
[33:18] (1998.74s)
reassemble the actors, rebuild the
[33:20] (2000.22s)
locations, and so on. Regarding Wonder
[33:23] (2003.55s)
Woman in the DCEU, James Gun says that
[33:25] (2005.72s)
no actress has been found yet, and they
[33:27] (2007.95s)
won't tell or show her in January—
[33:29] (2009.95s)
that is, there will be no official
[33:31] (2011.90s)
announcement from the studio. But he
[33:34] (2014.54s)
still didn't rule out her appearance in
[33:36] (2016.49s)
the "Man of Tomorrow" crossover. And
[33:38] (2018.35s)
the most interesting thing is that Jeff
[33:40] (2020.34s)
Snyder also seems to confirm this. And
[33:42] (2022.83s)
he says that James Gunn has already met
[33:44] (2024.55s)
with actresses; he's already considered
[33:46] (2026.26s)
candidates for the role of Wonder Woman
[33:47] (2027.94s)
. So, well, in short, the search is
[33:49] (2029.89s)
underway, she's already close. Like,
[33:51] (2031.47s)
Batman won't be shown in this crossover
[33:53] (2033.22s)
, but he will be mentioned. And James
[33:55] (2035.18s)
Gunn himself also spoke a little about
[33:57] (2037.28s)
filming "Man of Tomorrow." He said,
[33:59] (2039.85s)
firstly, that he understands both Lex
[34:01] (2041.65s)
and Superman—that is, you know, both
[34:03] (2043.51s)
characters, because they will be
[34:05] (2045.08s)
working in tandem there. They are, well
[34:08] (2048.10s)
, a hero and a villain, but they have a
[34:10] (2050.45s)
common goal. And Lex, as it were, his
[34:13] (2053.85s)
aspirations, his ambitions, he
[34:15] (2055.30s)
understands, and he understands
[34:16] (2056.79s)
Superman with his kindness, his kind of
[34:18] (2058.66s)
family values. But he understands all
[34:20] (2060.83s)
of this. And these are, like, two sides
[34:23] (2063.08s)
of the coin of James Gun's personality,
[34:25] (2065.61s)
so, well, it would be easy to work with
[34:28] (2068.09s)
. He was writing about himself, roughly
[34:29] (2069.99s)
speaking. Well, that's always the case
[34:31] (2071.74s)
with him, basically. You can see it in
[34:33] (2073.58s)
his films, if the theme of family, for
[34:35] (2075.74s)
example, is always very important to
[34:37] (2077.80s)
him. And he said that Superman was the
[34:39] (2079.54s)
most difficult film of his career. But
[34:41] (2081.21s)
perhaps the man of tomorrow will break
[34:43] (2083.20s)
this pedestal, because it's also very
[34:45] (2085.13s)
difficult for him; well, the work is
[34:47] (2087.02s)
given in the sense that—not that he
[34:48] (2088.95s)
directly, he overcomes himself—
[34:50] (2090.63s)
because the project is very difficult,
[34:52] (2092.62s)
very big, and, in short, for him, it's
[34:54] (2094.61s)
some kind of new experience. James
[34:56] (2096.59s)
Gaghan's opinion about Netflix buying
[34:59] (2099.33s)
Warner Bros. appeared. He didn't really
[35:01] (2101.71s)
praise it, but, you know, he didn't say
[35:02] (2102.97s)
anything particularly negative.
[35:04] (2104.66s)
Although, it seems like initially he
[35:06] (2106.50s)
was somehow silent about something, but
[35:08] (2108.48s)
now he said: "You know, it hasn't been
[35:10] (2110.42s)
determined yet, I don't know anything,
[35:12] (2112.36s)
but like, uh, well, changes will
[35:13] (2113.99s)
promise a lot of good things and so on.
[35:15] (2115.93s)
" Well, he expressed himself neutrally.
[35:19] (2119.54s)
Although, apparently, he doesn’t
[35:20] (2120.68s)
really like this idea, because if he
[35:21] (2121.89s)
sincerely liked it, he would have said:
[35:23] (2123.20s)
“That’s really cool, we’re
[35:24] (2124.28s)
waiting for the acquisition.” Lots of
[35:26] (2126.39s)
great stuff. But I think he also
[35:28] (2128.33s)
understands perfectly well that this is
[35:30] (2130.24s)
such a big acquisition. First of all,
[35:32] (2132.12s)
Netflix is already a giant. This will
[35:33] (2133.59s)
kill movie theaters. James Gunn has
[35:35] (2135.15s)
always been for movie theaters, he’s
[35:36] (2136.63s)
always supported them as much as
[35:37] (2137.88s)
possible, they have releases. And
[35:39] (2139.53s)
it’s not like he’s, you know, only
[35:42] (2142.16s)
for streaming. He likes theatrical
[35:45] (2145.06s)
releases too. That’s it. And here
[35:47] (2147.12s)
it’s like Netflix. Well, in short, it
[35:49] (2149.08s)
seems to me that he’s just like: “
[35:50] (2150.78s)
Yeah, yeah, everything’s fine. Avatar
[35:53] (2153.60s)
3.” Well, I don’t know whether you
[35:55] (2155.14s)
were expecting it or not, but the film
[35:56] (2156.69s)
has sort of broken even. Basically,
[35:58] (2158.95s)
it’s already grossed over a billion.
[36:00] (2160.54s)
What’s its budget? 400. Well, it will
[36:02] (2162.34s)
definitely break even. It’s already
[36:04] (2164.27s)
grossed over a billion. From there, the
[36:05] (2165.76s)
box office will continue to grow. So,
[36:06] (2166.99s)
it has a good release window. If you
[36:09] (2169.02s)
were wondering, "How on earth is this
[36:10] (2170.45s)
franchise doing this? Well, Avatar is a
[36:12] (2172.26s)
well-known franchise." So, with the
[36:14] (2174.20s)
first film, James Cameron just, I don't
[36:16] (2176.55s)
know, made a name for himself. With the
[36:19] (2179.19s)
second film, people were like, "What's
[36:20] (2180.47s)
going to happen in the sequel? There
[36:21] (2181.75s)
haven't been any sequels in years.
[36:22] (2182.93s)
What's going to happen? Let's go see it
[36:24] (2184.34s)
." It made money at the box office. The
[36:26] (2186.18s)
third film seemed to get so-so reviews.
[36:28] (2188.22s)
Like, well, it's just beautiful, but a
[36:31] (2191.30s)
bit empty. But people still keep going,
[36:33] (2193.96s)
because what else was there to watch
[36:35] (2195.27s)
during the New Year holidays? Like,
[36:37] (2197.55s)
there weren't any big competitors. Well
[36:40] (2200.87s)
, there was, like, Supreme, I forgot,
[36:43] (2203.45s)
Marti Supreme with Timati Shalom, but
[36:46] (2206.04s)
that's a more niche, narrow film. And
[36:49] (2209.85s)
here, Avatar is for the whole family,
[36:51] (2211.83s)
it's very beautiful. You go and watch
[36:53] (2213.83s)
about the unforgettable world of
[36:55] (2215.27s)
Pandora. Here's the third part. A
[36:56] (2216.72s)
well-known franchise. And, of course,
[36:58] (2218.15s)
people are like, "Yeah, let's go there.
[36:59] (2219.60s)
" And so the money is coming in. And so
[37:01] (2221.20s)
, Avatar has already raised over a
[37:02] (2222.97s)
billion. But nevertheless, uh, The
[37:05] (2225.62s)
Holiday Reporter reports that Disney
[37:07] (2227.28s)
and James Cameron will have until the
[37:08] (2228.98s)
end of this month to decide what to do
[37:10] (2230.72s)
with Avatar. So, it's clear that
[37:13] (2233.49s)
filming is underway, I'm telling you,
[37:14] (2234.86s)
there will definitely be a fourth
[37:16] (2236.10s)
Avatar, they're not shutting it down.
[37:17] (2237.98s)
Disney won't, they'll keep giving it.
[37:20] (2240.70s)
So, while the money is raising, believe
[37:22] (2242.32s)
me, everything will keep coming out.
[37:23] (2243.92s)
That's the first thing. Secondly, James
[37:25] (2245.56s)
Cameron, well, it seems he's a little
[37:27] (2247.54s)
tired, and he has an idea: either he'll
[37:29] (2249.64s)
direct the fourth part himself, and
[37:31] (2251.52s)
then he'll somehow still keep the
[37:33] (2253.30s)
course himself, or he'll step aside and
[37:35] (2255.39s)
be more of an assistant producer, and
[37:37] (2257.38s)
someone else will take his place as a
[37:39] (2259.37s)
full-fledged director. And the most
[37:41] (2261.46s)
interesting thing about these rumors is
[37:43] (2263.55s)
that James One, who's responsible for
[37:45] (2265.54s)
the saw, was responsible for the curse,
[37:47] (2267.64s)
or wait, the curse, or Astra, he
[37:49] (2269.37s)
removed the curse, I think, yes, the
[37:51] (2271.30s)
curse. There. He said: "I can replace
[37:53] (2273.45s)
James Camera." I can film Avatar 4.
[37:56] (2276.05s)
Marvel's Wonder Man, which is coming
[37:58] (2278.08s)
out this month. First of all, a new
[38:01] (2281.01s)
poster appeared, where the W on the
[38:03] (2283.51s)
Hollywood sign says Wonder Man. And
[38:06] (2286.02s)
there's also Trevor Slate, who's an
[38:07] (2287.80s)
actor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
[38:10] (2290.18s)
There. And I haven't watched this new
[38:11] (2291.89s)
trailer yet, because it came out on
[38:13] (2293.55s)
January 1st. Uh, I didn't release any
[38:15] (2295.60s)
reaction, but I waited to watch it with
[38:17] (2297.75s)
you in the news right away and,
[38:19] (2299.47s)
basically, evaluate what happened.
[38:21] (2301.40s)
Let's, basically, watch it together.
[38:23] (2303.45s)
Let's watch. You got this, man. You
[38:28] (2308.48s)
just got to go out there and crush it.
[38:48] (2328.12s)
Well, that's how they remembered his
[38:50] (2330.34s)
past. Well, by the way, the trailer is
[39:01] (2341.05s)
edited really well. He'll gradually
[39:30] (2370.15s)
gain powers, apparently. I was born to
[39:39] (2379.97s)
play this character, acting some of
[39:43] (2383.54s)
everything I've experienced. In my
[40:26] (2426.94s)
opinion, the trailer is one of the best
[40:28] (2428.70s)
ever for a Marvel series. They had an
[40:30] (2430.98s)
awesome one for The Falcon and the
[40:32] (2432.52s)
Winter Soldier, I remember the trailer
[40:34] (2434.23s)
for the Super Bowl. Well, One Vision
[40:36] (2436.24s)
did a lot of good stuff there. Loki had
[40:38] (2438.99s)
amazing trailers there. Well, I can
[40:41] (2441.24s)
count them on my fingers, but
[40:42] (2442.61s)
nevertheless, this looks like a really
[40:44] (2444.39s)
cool project. I understand that it's
[40:47] (2447.30s)
very niche, and it's not a Marvel
[40:49] (2449.40s)
project in the usual sense. Yes, it's
[40:52] (2452.85s)
more about acting, about some funny
[40:54] (2454.98s)
stuff. It's a comedy, but with
[40:57] (2457.03s)
superpowers mixed in. That's my taste,
[40:59] (2459.29s)
it's cool. On the contrary, I'm looking
[41:00] (2460.98s)
forward to it. And it looks like all
[41:02] (2462.38s)
the episodes will be released on
[41:03] (2463.61s)
January 27th at once. I'll be watching
[41:06] (2466.57s)
it live. So, it's just a little bit
[41:08] (2468.63s)
left, like two weeks, and then we'll be
[41:10] (2470.49s)
watching this series. Well, I kind of
[41:12] (2472.30s)
think it might not do well. And in
[41:14] (2474.79s)
general, if you've noticed a trend,
[41:16] (2476.57s)
Marvel only releases projects in one
[41:18] (2478.41s)
day that they realize are, like, maybe
[41:20] (2480.35s)
not particularly interesting to anyone,
[41:22] (2482.34s)
and they just release a bunch of them,
[41:24] (2484.28s)
like, yeah, watch it, please. But when
[41:27] (2487.22s)
they realize people will watch, they
[41:29] (2489.18s)
drag them out for weeks. But still, the
[41:32] (2492.00s)
actors are amazing, I like the concept.
[41:36] (2496.20s)
What else is there? Well, Marvel is a
[41:38] (2498.62s)
sign of quality, right? And it's
[41:41] (2501.97s)
probably interesting that at the end,
[41:43] (2503.73s)
this agent from Damage Control shows up
[41:45] (2505.54s)
. And more and more often, if you
[41:47] (2507.26s)
watched my video about the changes to
[41:48] (2508.95s)
the Marvel Cinematic Universe in
[41:50] (2510.41s)
previous phases, I pointed out in
[41:51] (2511.92s)
Damage Control that it needs to have
[41:53] (2513.56s)
more influence on the street level.
[41:55] (2515.54s)
They're doing the same here. And plus
[41:57] (2517.49s)
there are the directors, well, Destin
[41:59] (2519.41s)
Creteton was already the showrunner, I
[42:01] (2521.38s)
think, but he definitely directed the
[42:03] (2523.30s)
first episode, who is now filming
[42:05] (2525.01s)
Spider-Man 4. I hope, in terms of
[42:06] (2526.73s)
visuals, I really like it. Um, so I
[42:09] (2529.35s)
hope he used some of the Wonder Man
[42:10] (2530.86s)
tricks in this one too. Well, and he
[42:13] (2533.20s)
also filmed Shang-Shanchi, yes. And the
[42:15] (2535.13s)
new promo showed a full look at the
[42:17] (2537.51s)
suit. Well, as a full look, of course,
[42:19] (2539.07s)
you can’t see the whole suit, but you
[42:20] (2540.39s)
can get the general idea. There are
[42:21] (2541.83s)
glasses, there’s already that
[42:23] (2543.02s)
signature sleeveless jacket. It looks
[42:25] (2545.39s)
very comic book-like, yes, people have
[42:27] (2547.07s)
already started comparing it to Sam
[42:28] (2548.63s)
Wilson on Twitter, who is from, I think
[42:30] (2550.31s)
, Civil War or even Captain America II.
[42:32] (2552.80s)
His suit isn’t really that similar,
[42:34] (2554.97s)
but overall the suit looks nice. Batman
[42:37] (2557.40s)
2, which is directed by Matt Reeves.
[42:39] (2559.54s)
Quick news. Sebastian Stan may play
[42:44] (2564.03s)
Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. The story is
[42:47] (2567.18s)
simple. Jeff Snyder, an insider, said
[42:49] (2569.27s)
that Sebastian Stan was auditioned for
[42:50] (2570.89s)
some role in Batman 2, that is, they
[42:52] (2572.43s)
are considering him. And most likely,
[42:55] (2575.08s)
it will be Two-Face Harvey Dent. By the
[42:58] (2578.83s)
way, it’s also possible that Scarlett
[43:00] (2580.73s)
Johansson, who was also mentioned, will
[43:02] (2582.63s)
play, perhaps, Harvey Dent’s wife. Uh
[43:05] (2585.64s)
, well, we’re not talking about that
[43:07] (2587.58s)
now. And everyone is like, “Wow,
[43:09] (2589.84s)
great casting, this Two-Face Sebastian
[43:12] (2592.01s)
Stan.” He really fits the bill, in my
[43:13] (2593.83s)
opinion, both in terms of comics, and
[43:15] (2595.40s)
Sebastian Stan is a great actor in
[43:16] (2596.84s)
general, I don’t see any downsides at
[43:18] (2598.50s)
all. Great. I’ll only be happy for
[43:20] (2600.17s)
him. And the most interesting thing is
[43:23] (2603.25s)
that the person who does, well, how to
[43:25] (2605.86s)
say it, hair, styling, in short, the
[43:28] (2608.33s)
stylist, Sebastian Stan’s stylist,
[43:30] (2610.80s)
he’s already started posting on
[43:33] (2613.07s)
social media. He’s like, “Oh, he
[43:36] (2616.14s)
started making fan art, like bam-bam.
[43:37] (2617.97s)
” Well, that guy's already getting
[43:39] (2619.96s)
ready to do that Two-Face hairstyle.
[43:41] (2621.90s)
Anyway, he's already apparently happy
[43:43] (2623.30s)
about getting the role. I don't know if
[43:45] (2625.11s)
that's confirmation. I don't think so.
[43:47] (2627.84s)
He's more like happy that it might
[43:50] (2630.01s)
actually happen. It's unlikely
[43:53] (2633.72s)
Sebastian Stan was the first to tell
[43:55] (2635.58s)
him, but it's still a funny plus that
[43:57] (2637.49s)
it could actually happen. And the final
[44:01] (2641.29s)
nail in the coffin of confirmation that
[44:02] (2642.98s)
Sebastian Stan will actually play the
[44:04] (2644.58s)
role is that THR released an article
[44:06] (2646.14s)
where they said, "Yes, indeed, he's
[44:07] (2647.66s)
playing Harvident." It's still unclear
[44:10] (2650.09s)
whether they're Two-Face or not. I
[44:11] (2651.48s)
don't think they're going to cast him
[44:13] (2653.35s)
as a Batman villain right away, only as
[44:15] (2655.33s)
Harvey, maybe. But maybe in the third
[44:17] (2657.23s)
film or by the end of the film, he'll
[44:19] (2659.02s)
become Two-Face. It's not official
[44:20] (2660.98s)
confirmation yet, but it's as close as
[44:23] (2663.36s)
it gets. So, when Trifs himself comes
[44:25] (2665.51s)
out and presents it, or the studio
[44:27] (2667.39s)
announces it, then yes, it will be
[44:29] (2669.28s)
official. But, roughly speaking, yes,
[44:31] (2671.30s)
Sebastian Stan will be in Batman 2.
[44:32] (2672.95s)
Well, let me remind you, it's possible
[44:34] (2674.74s)
that Scarlett Johansson will play his
[44:36] (2676.49s)
partner, or maybe another character. As
[44:38] (2678.79s)
for her, nothing is clear yet. Well,
[44:41] (2681.66s)
and the very authoritative publication
[44:43] (2683.98s)
Variety confirmed that Barry Kegan will
[44:46] (2686.37s)
return as the Joker in Batman 2. So, uh
[44:48] (2688.69s)
, the villain gallery is growing.
[44:51] (2691.34s)
Rapunzel, the movie based on the
[44:53] (2693.40s)
cartoon. You remember that TengDT, the
[44:55] (2695.53s)
one who played Rapunzel, came out with
[44:57] (2697.36s)
the Disney cartoon not so long ago, but
[44:59] (2699.19s)
, of course, they're already planning a
[45:01] (2701.07s)
remake. And now they've found the
[45:02] (2702.95s)
actors. And in fact, everything is fine
[45:05] (2705.68s)
with the cast, because Teagan Croft,
[45:07] (2707.36s)
whom you may know as Raven from Titans,
[45:09] (2709.16s)
is, of course, unrecognizable. I
[45:11] (2711.35s)
honestly didn't realize it at first; if
[45:12] (2712.76s)
it hadn't been for the caption, I
[45:13] (2713.96s)
wouldn't have realized it was her.
[45:16] (2716.08s)
She's going to play Rapunzel. She's a
[45:18] (2718.41s)
beautiful girl, and her hair just suits
[45:20] (2720.30s)
her perfectly. Absolutely no problem.
[45:23] (2723.22s)
She's going to play Rapunzel, and this
[45:26] (2726.02s)
Flynn guy will be played by Michael
[45:28] (2728.61s)
Manheim, who played a zombie musical at
[45:31] (2731.48s)
Disney. Basically, Disney is
[45:33] (2733.76s)
cultivating a new Zacphron, a handsome
[45:36] (2736.04s)
young man. Well, actually, he looks a
[45:37] (2737.61s)
lot like her, too. He's even even put
[45:39] (2739.25s)
an avatar of Flynn from the cartoon on
[45:40] (2740.83s)
some social media site, where he's got
[45:42] (2742.41s)
that picture of him with the swords,
[45:43] (2743.91s)
he's already got it. Anyway, it's
[45:45] (2745.81s)
definitely there. And maybe, maybe, by
[45:48] (2748.26s)
the way, there have been rumors about
[45:49] (2749.92s)
this for a while now, but they've just
[45:51] (2751.62s)
reactivated the idea that the leading
[45:53] (2753.29s)
contender for the role of Mother Gothel
[45:55] (2755.03s)
is, of course, Kathryn Hahn. She's
[45:57] (2757.66s)
visually perfect. Well, Kathryn Hahn
[46:00] (2760.98s)
plays the role perfectly, I'm sure. But
[46:04] (2764.77s)
I really hope she gets cast, because
[46:06] (2766.74s)
it's supposed to boost her career. Yes,
[46:08] (2768.96s)
the role will be similar to what she
[46:10] (2770.98s)
played in One Day Vision, and in Aga,
[46:13] (2773.05s)
and elsewhere. Although, for example,
[46:15] (2775.19s)
she's not at all in the film studio.
[46:17] (2777.54s)
But now, apparently, after Marvel,
[46:19] (2779.64s)
they're starting to throw some evil
[46:21] (2781.80s)
women at her. Welcome to Derry. Finn
[46:25] (2785.17s)
Wolfkard, who's Mike from OSD, but he
[46:28] (2788.16s)
also played in ANO. You remember Richie
[46:31] (2791.84s)
, he shared that back when the films
[46:33] (2793.75s)
were coming out, Andy Muschietti told
[46:35] (2795.71s)
him about some project that was also
[46:37] (2797.62s)
connected to ANO. And this agreement is
[46:40] (2800.88s)
still in effect. That is, they had been
[46:42] (2802.88s)
discussing something for a long time,
[46:44] (2804.54s)
back in 2021, they agreed, and now the
[46:46] (2806.24s)
series is coming out, and he's saying
[46:47] (2807.90s)
that the agreement is still in place.
[46:49] (2809.96s)
In short, he hinted that sooner or
[46:51] (2811.50s)
later he would appear in some project
[46:53] (2813.17s)
connected to ANO. Maybe he was
[46:55] (2815.37s)
referring to, I don't know, the second
[46:57] (2817.51s)
season, for example, Welcome to Derry,
[46:59] (2819.65s)
because without spoilers, his small
[47:01] (2821.63s)
comeo as Finn Wolhard is in the first
[47:03] (2823.72s)
season, but it's just a flyer, so the
[47:05] (2825.80s)
actor himself didn't appear. Anyway,
[47:08] (2828.26s)
maybe something will appear, it will be
[47:09] (2829.89s)
cool. Super Girl, a small block about
[47:12] (2832.15s)
that film. First of all, there's a new
[47:14] (2834.78s)
shot of Miley Alcock in a suit. She has
[47:17] (2837.32s)
a slightly updated suit there. She has
[47:18] (2838.91s)
this new belt, this gold one, and the
[47:21] (2841.02s)
suit fits her great. I mean, you
[47:23] (2843.32s)
remember I said that David Coronwet's
[47:25] (2845.49s)
suit seems okay, but it fits a little
[47:27] (2847.66s)
baggy. It's really puffy. Although
[47:30] (2850.24s)
David Coronwet has an awesome uniform.
[47:32] (2852.58s)
I mean, well, that's it. But on her,
[47:35] (2855.93s)
the suit is a little more, you know,
[47:37] (2857.90s)
like the excess air was pumped out and
[47:39] (2859.97s)
not, well, not really much, it’s not
[47:42] (2862.03s)
this, you know, not some kind of tight
[47:44] (2864.10s)
spandex, but it just looks better and
[47:46] (2866.12s)
more pleasant. But still, that’s not
[47:49] (2869.35s)
the point now. James Gun also shared,
[47:52] (2872.02s)
said that he really liked Millilcock.
[47:54] (2874.52s)
She gave an amazing performance. Then
[47:55] (2875.86s)
again, for some reason, he compares the
[47:57] (2877.81s)
film to Guardians of the Galaxy. Those
[48:00] (2880.10s)
are the people who are always like, “
[48:01] (2881.38s)
This is not Guardians of the Galaxy.”
[48:03] (2883.24s)
But James Gun himself says that
[48:04] (2884.83s)
Guardians of the Galaxy and they are
[48:06] (2886.67s)
very similar. Superhero. Yes, it’s
[48:08] (2888.56s)
not the same film, but the themes are
[48:09] (2889.82s)
very similar and all that. Only here
[48:11] (2891.33s)
it’s based on Tom King’s comics.
[48:13] (2893.02s)
That’s how the head of the DC
[48:14] (2894.98s)
cinematic universe himself speaks. You
[48:18] (2898.35s)
can really see it in the trailer. Well,
[48:19] (2899.82s)
it’s as if we’ll keep pushing this
[48:20] (2900.98s)
theme, pushing it further and further.
[48:22] (2902.54s)
But honestly, it feels like they’re
[48:24] (2904.01s)
just like, “We need to make our own
[48:25] (2905.49s)
Guardians and galaxies.” Pak News
[48:28] (2908.04s)
reported that SuperG is a low-budget
[48:30] (2910.36s)
film. Honestly, I'm not even sure it's
[48:32] (2912.65s)
low-budget. How much is that? 40
[48:34] (2914.13s)
million, hardly 15. So. Well, like,
[48:36] (2916.75s)
it's probably a smaller budget than
[48:39] (2919.38s)
Superman. I think that's true because
[48:41] (2921.49s)
Superman had a bigger cast, and the
[48:43] (2923.11s)
film somehow seemed to be on a larger
[48:44] (2924.83s)
scale. Although this one is outrageous,
[48:46] (2926.78s)
it would seem. Well, I think it's maybe
[48:48] (2928.96s)
, like, 180-150 million, maybe for
[48:50] (2930.72s)
SuperG, and it'll easily break even at
[48:52] (2932.68s)
the box office, yeah, absolutely
[48:54] (2934.34s)
fantastic. Well, they showed new SuperG
[48:56] (2936.44s)
promos. They've already started
[48:59] (2939.06s)
preparing merch for all sorts of
[49:01] (2941.19s)
notebooks, pencils, pens. Those are the
[49:04] (2944.04s)
promos. Well, that's nice. We're
[49:05] (2945.27s)
looking forward to the film. Oh, and of
[49:06] (2946.69s)
course, again, they might show a new
[49:08] (2948.70s)
trailer at the Super Bowl, which is
[49:10] (2950.65s)
approaching in two weeks. Ocean's
[49:13] (2953.11s)
Friends, you may remember that a new
[49:14] (2954.89s)
film is in development, and George
[49:16] (2956.58s)
Clooney—well, Ocean himself,
[49:18] (2958.07s)
basically—has announced that Brad
[49:19] (2959.81s)
Pitt, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle, and
[49:21] (2961.64s)
Matt Damon will be returning for the
[49:23] (2963.43s)
new installment. So, almost the entire
[49:26] (2966.09s)
main cast is returning, and the film
[49:28] (2968.11s)
will follow the characters as they age.
[49:30] (2970.38s)
And, basically, it's harder for them to
[49:32] (2972.83s)
steal and commit robberies in middle
[49:35] (2975.09s)
age. So, that's the joke about them
[49:38] (2978.72s)
being old. Everything's hard for them,
[49:41] (2981.04s)
their bones are cracking, and they need
[49:42] (2982.64s)
to break into some bank. But filming
[49:44] (2984.97s)
starts this year anyway. Well, friends,
[49:48] (2988.29s)
it's a killer franchise. We're looking
[49:49] (2989.99s)
forward to the new film, too. Well, I'm
[49:51] (2991.58s)
at least looking forward to GTA 6, this
[49:53] (2993.41s)
sudden game reveal from Jason Schreier.
[49:55] (2995.90s)
He's a very, very respected gaming
[49:57] (2997.66s)
insider, a journalist of sorts. He said
[49:59] (2999.98s)
that GTA might not be released this
[50:02] (3002.16s)
year. That is, it might be delayed
[50:04] (3004.26s)
again. Rockstar is completely prepared
[50:07] (3007.23s)
for this, because it's the biggest
[50:08] (3008.91s)
project ever for Take, the company that
[50:10] (3010.83s)
owns Rockstar. They don't have any
[50:14] (3014.09s)
larger assets. All bets are on this
[50:16] (3016.62s)
film. So, in short, they want to
[50:18] (3018.98s)
release a perfect game, with minimal
[50:21] (3021.53s)
bugs. In fact, it would be better if
[50:22] (3022.83s)
there weren't any. They're currently
[50:23] (3024.00s)
running all sorts of tests, etc., etc.
[50:25] (3025.34s)
Well, in short, if it gets delayed,
[50:26] (3026.58s)
they'll do it. So, just be prepared for
[50:29] (3029.36s)
that. Although, I think I'm prepared.
[50:32] (3032.20s)
When the game comes out, I'm like, "
[50:33] (3033.38s)
That's it, it turned out great." You
[50:34] (3034.87s)
know, I don't really care about it. And
[50:37] (3037.35s)
there's no real tremors about it being
[50:40] (3040.17s)
delayed again. It's as if I'm
[50:43] (3043.58s)
completely calm. Although, of course, I
[50:45] (3045.57s)
want to play it, but still, it's a new
[50:47] (3047.17s)
GTA. It's bound to be a phenomenon.
[50:50] (3050.44s)
Tu-tu-doo-doo-doo. The A24 Movies
[50:52] (3052.74s)
section. Well, first of all, the death
[50:55] (3055.25s)
of Robinhood. I already talked about
[50:56] (3056.59s)
him. It's a film with Hugh Jackman,
[50:59] (3059.73s)
where he plays an aged Robin Hood, who
[51:02] (3062.08s)
pours out his soul, talks about his
[51:04] (3064.25s)
crimes, his life, adventures, how he
[51:06] (3066.48s)
shot a bow. There. Well, of course, you
[51:09] (3069.55s)
have to watch Hugh Jackman. I generally
[51:11] (3071.53s)
like Robinhood. I like archery. I like
[51:14] (3074.48s)
everything. A24 is good, beautifully
[51:17] (3077.57s)
filmed. Well, it seems like something
[51:20] (3080.36s)
interesting. Like Old Man Logan, but
[51:22] (3082.74s)
about Robinhood. And there's also a new
[51:25] (3085.30s)
trailer for the film Undert. It's some
[51:28] (3088.91s)
kind of new horror film that tells the
[51:30] (3090.89s)
story of a podcaster, a journalist who
[51:32] (3092.87s)
was doing something, and she started
[51:34] (3094.75s)
receiving audio recordings that are
[51:36] (3096.57s)
scary. There. Well, that is, it has to
[51:38] (3098.91s)
do with the sound. The film is a horror
[51:41] (3101.18s)
. And the most interesting thing is
[51:42] (3102.49s)
that this horror film hasn't been
[51:43] (3103.58s)
released yet. It will only be released
[51:45] (3105.85s)
soon, the premiere is on March 13th.
[51:48] (3108.68s)
But it's already ready, it was shown at
[51:51] (3111.48s)
festivals, and it caused a furor. A24
[51:56] (3116.02s)
bought the rights to show it for over a
[51:59] (3119.67s)
million, well, to distribute this film.
[52:04] (3124.96s)
And the most interesting thing is that
[52:06] (3126.42s)
the director of this film has already
[52:07] (3127.84s)
been appointed as the director of a new
[52:09] (3129.33s)
paranormal activity. So, this is some
[52:11] (3131.58s)
kind of groundbreaking horror film they
[52:13] (3133.41s)
made. Well, I mean, if Hollywood has
[52:16] (3136.03s)
suddenly grabbed hold of some new
[52:17] (3137.28s)
director, then it will have to be
[52:18] (3138.53s)
assessed. A few statistics so you
[52:21] (3141.61s)
understand how Disney makes money. In
[52:25] (3145.45s)
2025, Leela&Stitch earned $ 4 billion
[52:29] (3149.60s)
for Disney. That's without the film,
[52:33] (3153.06s)
right? The film Leela&Stitch came out.
[52:35] (3155.72s)
It, of course, fueled sales of all
[52:37] (3157.05s)
sorts of toys, merchandise, and other
[52:38] (3158.50s)
things, well, that's how they made that
[52:40] (3160.03s)
money, actually. But that's without the
[52:42] (3162.66s)
film's box office. The film made over a
[52:44] (3164.88s)
billion dollars on a budget of 100
[52:46] (3166.65s)
million. So, it made 10 times, well, 10
[52:49] (3169.68s)
times its budget, plus, like, another 4
[52:52] (3172.59s)
billion on top in merch. So, when we
[52:55] (3175.67s)
talk about Avatar, well, when we talk
[52:57] (3177.74s)
about franchises like this, then, of
[52:59] (3179.76s)
course, you have to take this into
[53:01] (3181.66s)
account. Superman comes out, they sell
[53:03] (3183.96s)
Superman toys, and, of course, they
[53:05] (3185.61s)
make even more money than the film
[53:07] (3187.22s)
itself. Deadpool is the same. The
[53:09] (3189.70s)
Avengers, yes, believe me, they'll make
[53:11] (3191.76s)
that much money from those licenses.
[53:14] (3194.56s)
Let me remind you, if you haven't
[53:16] (3196.30s)
watched my video on the channel about
[53:18] (3198.24s)
Marvel, about how the cinematic
[53:19] (3199.87s)
universe was born, about Stenali, about
[53:21] (3201.91s)
Aviarad, the whole idea of the Marvel
[53:23] (3203.86s)
Cinematic Universe is built on making
[53:25] (3205.80s)
films that are as interconnected as
[53:27] (3207.64s)
possible to sell toys. So, it's all
[53:30] (3210.23s)
thought out from the start. So, it's as
[53:33] (3213.46s)
if Disney knew what they were doing
[53:34] (3214.95s)
when they bought Marvel for a lot of
[53:36] (3216.49s)
money, and then multiplied the price,
[53:40] (3220.81s)
the value. Anyway, that's it. The
[53:42] (3222.60s)
latest news. It concerns Star Wars.
[53:45] (3225.96s)
Dave Filoni and Levin Breach, Stan
[53:48] (3228.24s)
Breach, will become the new rulers of
[53:50] (3230.72s)
this Lucas Film. Dave Filoni is known
[53:54] (3234.22s)
for cartoons and TV series. Well,
[53:56] (3236.42s)
basically, he knows the Star Wars lore.
[53:58] (3238.62s)
Not all fans like him, but one way or
[54:00] (3240.07s)
another, he's a real fan. And he's
[54:01] (3241.88s)
truly immersed in the universe. So,
[54:04] (3244.37s)
this isn't just some corporation that
[54:06] (3246.19s)
came in, but he's a man from the people
[54:08] (3248.11s)
who came in to make Star Wars projects.
[54:10] (3250.34s)
He's this guy who wears a hat. So yeah,
[54:13] (3253.95s)
now he'll essentially be like James
[54:15] (3255.62s)
Gunn for DC, and the woman will be like
[54:17] (3257.48s)
Peter Safran for DC. She'll be more
[54:20] (3260.04s)
involved in the producing side of
[54:21] (3261.55s)
things. And so, this year, they're
[54:23] (3263.33s)
going to change everything; in theory,
[54:25] (3265.11s)
there'll even be an official
[54:26] (3266.43s)
announcement in a couple of weeks. So
[54:28] (3268.26s)
far, there are just rumors from PKC
[54:29] (3269.60s)
News. But this has actually been
[54:31] (3271.02s)
brewing and been talked about for a
[54:32] (3272.53s)
long time, even for years, I think. And
[54:34] (3274.48s)
the most unusual thing is that Shawn
[54:36] (3276.75s)
Levy shared the news that Tom Cruise
[54:39] (3279.01s)
filmed a lightsaber fight for the new
[54:41] (3281.34s)
movie, the one with Ryan Gosling. So,
[54:44] (3284.41s)
you'll watch some fight there, and
[54:45] (3285.73s)
you'll know that Tom Cruise had a hand
[54:47] (3287.19s)
in it. Although, it's as if he, you
[54:50] (3290.50s)
know, was like, "Tom Cruise filmed a
[54:53] (3293.20s)
fight for us." And people will watch.
[54:55] (3295.45s)
What kind of nonsense did they film?
[54:56] (3296.82s)
What is he Levitating? What did you
[54:58] (3298.18s)
film? But he said that Tom Cruise
[54:59] (3299.62s)
filmed it. Oh well. Well, it's like,
[55:01] (3301.82s)
you know, he kind of abdicated this
[55:03] (3303.26s)
responsibility a little. Well, let's
[55:05] (3305.24s)
see what Tom Cruise filmed. Maybe Ryan
[55:08] (3308.24s)
Gosling is spinning around like a
[55:09] (3309.86s)
hamster on a wheel and waving his sword
[55:11] (3311.71s)
. We'll see. That's all. Thanks for
[55:14] (3314.70s)
watching the first news this year.
